Another crowd shot. Yay.

Yo, check it out - Syracuse in the Ha-higgity. (Yep, believe it or not, every person in this pic went to school together).
crowd
Here's the party in all it's glory from the DJ booth.
cake party: part three
August 27, 2002
crowd
Meanwhile, as we busied ourselves with food, the dancefloor started HEATIN' UP sumptin' fierce.
crowd
Around 11:30 the party started warming up...
crowd
All the people dressed up and participating in the parade start on the boardwalk, walk down the beach through three gated ribbons, each representing a season, and then march the entire parade right in the water, officially bringing in the summer.
crowd
Straight-up, these parties get OUT OF HAND. Each time I go it gets rowdier than the last...
crowd
Girl on the left = Ohmygod. (But PVC pants? Seriously?)
crowd
He then parted the crowd and came down to dance and sing amongst the fans.
crowd
Around 1am-ish, everybody cut out of Mercedes party (what do these suckas all have jobs or sumptin?) and I headed solo down to the Tribeca Grand for some weird-ass record release party. Yay.
crowd
This was the line for the bar. Total free-for-all.
crowd
Here's the audience (or what's left of them at well-past 2am) giving Grant a standing ovation upon the completion of his song. They totally went apeshit.
crowd
Dance floor not-so-much-madness.
crowd
We opened the doors at 8pm, by 8:45 the place was mobbed.
crowd
A swanky shot of the venue (taken by Joey) at the onset of the evening.
crowd
Stage shot.

The crowd gathers to watch Soviet play.
crowd
An hour into being there, the place suddenly got waaaay too crowded and Matty and I cut out.

My friend Jack Wright sent an email teasing me that he had gotten invited to a party that the Hilton sisters' were throwing to celebrate the beginning of fashion week. Who cares? Or that's what I thought until he told me that it was going to be a lingerie/pajama party. I immediately called upon Pimpmaster Tony Meyer who got me on tha list wit da quickness.
crowd
While people were mingling...
crowd
The rest of the crowd in the living room.

Fast-forward five days to Thursday. The show is being re-aired for the third time in a week and this time we gathered at the swank digs of Tony Meyer (lead Spring Street investor and all around macking pimp...seriously, this guy puts Bruce Wayne to shame).
crowd
I had been in bed sick for a week, but I was going to be damned if I missed gathering with my co-workers at Nerve's swanky SoHo offices to watch the first ever airing on Saturday the 19th.

So on Saturday afternoon, Vin gets a call from this German guy Ralf who's a photographer that we met at our friend Chris' 4th of July party. Ralf showed up to Chris' party with all these hot model chicks and I guess Vin was like "Yo, who are all those girls?" and Ralf was like (in thick German accent) "They are my girls. If you want, when I have pahty, I will call you and invite you to pahty and you can meet these girls und more." Vin was like "Yeah, okay dude." 9 months and 7 days later, Ralf called and invited us to his housewarming pahty.

Bar #1 - Remote Lounge, 12:30am: Nerve is throwing a party here in late February so a bunch of the Nerve crew met up here to check out their digs. Rufus' friend was promoting the place and told us a secret word that made all drinks a "two for one" special. Nice!
