C'mon. On Friday night I went over to Angels & Kings (which has since been shuttered because they got busted serving drinks to underage kiddies!) to say hi to Brandon who was DJing there. I arrived and found Andy and Sarah in the booth with him. See? Fancy, right? On Sunday afternoon, I met up with Sarah and Leigh and we went to some fancy private club that Sarah got a membership at in Chelsea. Brandon and Sar. And then somehow Casey's shirt came off? So glad to be back in NYC! ...but I hit the streets a little after midnight! First stop: The Annex to catch up with this little smidge! After the band was finished playing, we totally had ourselves a "dance like no one's watching" dance party. On Sunday afternoon, we met up with Sarah and headed over to the Greg and Geo's apartment for a backyard BBQ. ...and Sarah broke out some KARAOKE VIDEO GAME she'd recently gotten! Some eventually figured out to take this game, combine it with Guitar Hero and add a drum set and it became Rock Band. Then later that night we went over to Sarah and Gurj's to get our food and drink on before heading up to the roof to watch the fireworks! Sarah on the sidelines anxiously waiting to take on the winner. (Soooo addicted!) We told people to come at 9pm (but with everyone we know, that usually means 9:45). So we were totally shocked when Brandon and Sarah showed up... Just when things were starting to wind down, I got a call from Sarah and... Four days after playing Guitar Hero for the very first time at our apartment, Sarah and Gurj went out and bought it for their apartment. Addicted! I like how Sarah is holding out two "rock fists" just like Beavis. After brunch, Sarah came over to try Guitar Hero for the VERY FIRST TIME! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! On Saturday morning, Fatty and I met up with... Hahaha. I don't remember why Sarah's doing the whole "me have Chinee eyes" thing, but I'm sure there's a perfectly-good, non-racist explanation for it. Nah, I'm just kidding. She's totally a racist! RACIST! On Friday night, Meredith and I went over to Angels & Kings because Sarah and Karen were doing their thing there. Also, I dropped my camera AGAIN and now when I try to use the zoom it takes janky photos like this! Blargh. Friday night I went out to meet up with David Caggiari! He was in town to play a bunch of shows with his band! Here's David and Sarah. ...and then headed over to Angels & Kings in the East Village to visit Sarah , Karen and Brandon . Right after I snapped this picture, I dropped my brand new camera and broke the lens-protector! So that the next time I took a photo... I experimented for a while trying to use the broken-lens protector to frame the photos in interesting ways... ...it looked like this! OH NOS! Thursday night I went out with Hallie, Chris Black , Sarah and Brandon . Sarah, Leigh and the Birthday Girl! Sarah and Cat....Shruti, Sarah and Matt. Karen and Sarah were there! (Karen, if you're giving that "five" hand signal in honor of The Five O'Clock Heroes, you are a huge dork.)
