Baby Come Back - Meredith likes the 70's deep cuts. Serious Meredith is intense about karaoke! Jared closed us out! It was time for karaoke! (It's been awhile, old friend) ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! Three books deep! Private room at Sing Sing on a Saturday night. Prime time! Meredith did I've Got My Mind Set On You . Meredith giving her with a full suite of backup singers! Birthday duet serenade. ...KARAOKE! Mer! Gurj and Mer! ...that Meredith just could not restrain herself any longer. Here's my little monkey singing I'm a Believer by The Monkees! ...AND some b-boy dancing! Again, I'm not sure what song it was, but it apparently required some pogo-ing... Hahaha. A little before 3am, Grant and Meredith closed out the night with a final duet! ...and giving Shruti second mic to sing into. She ended her performance with the big finale of... ...dancing around Shruti while holding the microphone in a mystical way... A few minutes later, Shruti and Meredith hit the stage for what started out as a duet... ...but then Meredith realized that she didn't really know the song that Shruti'd chosen, and it quickly turned into a solo where Shruti sang and Meredith took turns crying... Meredith on the mic. On Monday night, a whole bunch of us went to that Karaoke place on Bowery to wish... Christine and Meredith. Meredith singing I'm a Believer by The Monkees.
