Found some solid pics from our college graduation that are on this site but were scanned with 1990s technology, so I took some higher resolution copies and sent them over.
dens
Shots with our advertising professors!
dens
...and Dennis! Seen here with Grant doing a "I can't believe you wrote this sex-book / built this Foursquare app" mutual-admiration sesh.
dens
On Wednesday morning I walked into work and saw this guy staring at my from the magazine rack in Yodle's lobby! Congrats, Dens!
dens
Feelin' the Jov'.
dens
...that's right! Dennis Crowley was there kicking his signature jam: Jovi's Wanted Dead of Alive.
dens
On Friday night I went over to Dennis' new apartment for his Holiday party. Here are the brothers Crowley getting their eggnog on.
dens
J and Dens going head to head...
dens
Check out Randy's ornament! Dennis singing karaoke on Santa's shoulders???
dens
Happy 31st, Dennis!
dens
All I know is that by this point our group was pretty much the only people left in the place which I guess is why we didn't get thrown out for having a dance party on the couches and tables.
dens
I was totally drunk at this point and have no recollection whatsoever about what song they sang.
dens
Then Dens and Becca did a duet.
dens
...THE GUN SHOW! (J gets bonus points for making a chimpanzee face!).
dens
After Dens' song, the Brothers Crowley invited the entire bar to check out...
dens
I've been walking the streets at night. Just trying to get it right.
dens
So tender that he even got down on his knees to emphasize the tenderness.
dens
Around 1:30 the crowd at Heathers was starting to thin out so we decided to take the birthday party across the street to Planet Rose for some karaoke! Dens kicked off the jams with a tender, tender version of...
dens
...a giant bag of crazy straws that were immediately opened and put to use!
dens
Dens opened Karen's birthday present and it was...
dens
I got to Heathers (which is a bar literally around the corner from our apartment) right after midnight and ran into the birthday boy as soon as I walked in the door! Happy Birthday!
dens
The previous photo was so nice that I just had to sneak myself into it.
dens
Later that night I went over to the Blue Owl to wish Karen M. a happy birthday! Here's the birthday girl with Karen L. and Dens. (Dennis had just recently left Google and was saying goodbye to his old ID badge).
dens
Then Kevin and Dennis teamed up for a DUET!
dens
Dennis Crowley hit the stage around 3:30 for his signature Wanted Dead of Alive, another can't-miss crowed-pleaser from the Jov.
dens
Crowd shot. Here's a picture that Brad took of Dennis filming the video above. I dare you to get more meta than that.
dens
Around 3:30, a totally crunked Dennis Crowley rolled in!
dens
...you can use it to lasso girls into whispering sweet, sweet nothings into your ear.

Little known fact: If you take the drawstring out of your hoodie...

Dennis and Karen Marsala!
dens
Me with the one and only Dennis Crowley.
dens
Here's Dens playa-hating on red-shirts duet with Niki! Hahaha.
dens
Hahaha.
dens
Steel horse, indeed.
dens
Pow!
dens
A little 1am, Dennis showed up with a crew of his own! He hit the stage with the quickness for what I'm guessing was probably Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive, his signature jam.
dens
Here's me and Dennis with the birthday boy! Dennis got Newman a...
dens
On Friday night, I hopped into Dennis's car and he drove me up to attend Stoopid Newman's birthday party in South Norwalk, CT. (Newman was Dennis's roommate in college and my roommate for almost two years right after college). Right as we were about to walk into the party, I remarked that Dennis's gift for Newman "looked too nice." Dennis agreed, so we took turns stomping the shit out in the parking lot before we went into the party. Hahaha. Dennis went first.

Then I gave it a few more kicks and scuffs for good measure.
dens
Here's a pic (stolen from Dens!) of us on the coaster! This was the ride where Dennis discovered he wasn't a huge fan of roller coasters! (The three of us all have our arms in the air and he's holding on for dear life).
dens
And here's Dens and Karen. Check out the photo of Dens on the right: 0 - 128mph in 3.5 seconds = G-forces smoooooshing yer face. Hahaha.
dens
...Karen and Dens were sorta nervous! Hahaha. (Look at the expression on Karen's face!).
dens
Dens: Cowering.
dens
I passed the time in line by pretending to take pictures of Dennis so that I could capture a few surreptitious pictures of this awesomely awful "Growing Up Gotti" dude that was in line behind us. Sweet line-beard, dude! But then I stopped because I think he was catching on to me and the only thing worse than getting beat up by a 17 year-old is getting beat up by a 17 year-old with that wears foundation make up! Hahah.
dens
Natasha, Dennis ("There's no way I'm going on that thing") Crowley, and Karen M.
dens
Dens and Karen in the front seat in Dens' pimpin' Range Rover.
dens
On Tuesday night, I stopped by 12" on Essex street to say hi to Dens who was DJing.
dens
Big Brother, Dens. Ok, ok, enough with the introductions already, it's time for some...
dens
Dens and Jonathan: The brothers Crowley.
dens
Back inside over at the bar, I caught smarty-pants dodgeball.com founder Dennis Crowley trying to lay the mack down on this girl.
dens
It's the Crowley Crew.
dens
Dennis Crowley, founder of Dodgeball (and in my estimation) the very first person to have an episodic photo diary on the web, showed up to kick a little Wanted (Dead of Alive) the crowd's way.
dens
This fuggin guy, always on the celly.

Dens getting a smooch?

After a warmup drink or three there, we headed over to The Hole and met up with a buncha other people. Charlene, Grant, Tara and (special guest stars from Teendrama) Dennis Crowley and Grellan
dens
Thursday night was Dennis Crowley's 27th Birthday, so I stopped by Ludlow bar to bestow best wishes upon the birthday boy. (This pic was actually taken from his account of the evening).
dens
Christ, was there anybody there that doesn't have a webpage? Hi, we're huge losers. From L to R: Jonathan "Little Brother of Dennis" Crowley (orangeride.com), Dens back there in the green (another gratuitous teendrama.com plug) and Randy (hifiny.com). I'm not sure who that guy is back there in the upper left, but I'll betcha dollars to doughnuts he's at least got a text-blog.
dens
While grabbing a drink a Luna lounge, we also randomly ran into fellow Syracusian (and fellow web-diarist), Dennis Crowley. (It was his web page, all the way back in '96, that inspired me to start doing this.)

Me and Dens. Yo, I challenge you to find a photo that has more C-List, low-wattage, Internet celebs than this one.
dens
Another class photo. (most of these people suck. but let's just keep that a secret between you and I.)
dens
Here's my Advertising Campaigns class, with our professor Beth "Dip Me In Chocolate" Barnes (don't ask, you don't want to know) getting shitty doing shots at Darwin's after our final. (Which was the last final I had to take in order to graduate.)
dens
At block party somehow it became cool for everyone to lay down and trace their outlines in chalk. Here's party guy Dennis Crowley lying on the pavement.
