On Saturday I got my suit back from the dry cleaner. The ties I'd dropped off were returned to me in a bag that looked like they had custom illustrated just for me.
As long time readers of this site know, I have a ton of bizarro-lookalikes: but the one that cracks my friends up the most, is the fact that I look quite a bit like Ellen DeGeneres. I was watching her comedy special and paused and thought I'd captured quite a likeness so I took this pic to immortalize it. Hahah.
...this incredible photo op. Hahahah. How fucking scary is photo? Will looks 800 times more like Bad Sensei than I look like Johnny. His resemblance is uncanny! If there had been a lookalike "Daniel-san" in the bar that night, he totally would've shit his pants.
Somwhere along the line, Jonas said it was his birthday wish to take shirtless photos with me. Timmy took my camera, and Jonas got my shirt off faster than a fatgirl can unwrap a Twix. Here's me trying to hide my giant boner by acting uncomfortable.
So this is a picture of the now defunct British band, Kula Shakur. People in the past had told me that I looked a lot like their singer, Crispian Mills (the guy in the left in the pic). Anyway, an hour and a half into the afterparty, this really drunk short guy stumbles up to me and in a super thick Essex accent is like "Oi! Crispian! 'Ow the fuck you behn, mate?" So I very politely told him "I think you've got me mixed up with somebody else." Upon hearing my American accent, which he thought I was feigning he laughed and told me "Ha! That's a fucking great accent. Really great. So seriously, how've you been?" At this point, Charlene came over and told him that I wasn't who he thought I was. He got all embarrassed and walked off really quickly. After he left, Charlene was like "Do you know who that was?"
...and his friend Johann (who you might recognize from the Bizarro Me entry). I was so glad to finally meet this guy. For the last year or so, not a month would pass without someone walking up to me in a dimly lit bar and thinking I was this guy.
And here's the elusive Johann. People have been mistaken me around NYC for this guy for months. I finally got introduced to him by a mutual friend and managed to get this pic.
So we're in the back of the bar and we see this guy (Scott Weinstein) who totally looks like a bizarro version of our friend Dave Fateman. (Click here to launch the comparison window).
After dinner, we went over to EAR bar to have a drink and kill some time before heading over to TISWAS at Don Hill's. They have paper tablecloths and crayons so that everybody can draw funny pictures of each other. Here's Grant's drawing of me. Hahaha.
