I went to go see the movie 50/50 and Mer and Gurj went to Irving Plaza to visit Ellen at a Third Eye Blind DVD shoot. (No, seriously!) Ellen came over later that evening! We walked the dogs over to Sheen Brothers... Omg, new flavors. How about some Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top? WHAT? ...and make your own banana split sundae for dessert! Later that night, Jonah came over for a hang! Fistfulla ice cream sandwiches, yes! (I just finished listing the Chris Connelly / Saves the Day episode of Going Off Track and it's SO GOOD!) ...we also brought a serious snack-spread along! ...and then headed around the corner to Sheen Brothers on a... ...TREATQUEST! Meredith found the treat table inside and did a little foil-lifting recon mission. Double-fisting treats! <3 ...it was time for a schnack break! ...of Siege's post-movie park treat selection! Schnack break! ...mini-pastries... ...the dessert buffet? Meredith brought along homemade strawberry fruit leather she made with her dehydrator. ...and got all Nutella on them! Back at the homestead later that evening, Meredith took some boring old pretzels... Cookie ala mode! ...and we split the mother of all cinnamon rolls... ...got ourselves some slices of pie... Coconut rice and strawberry celebration. Late night snack experiments! Homemade granola + yogurt + maple syrup = delicious. All about the Flipz. Hahah Treat fan! Later that night we went over to IFC theater to see a midnight movie...but not before stopping at Duane Reade to stock up on some illicit movie treats! Mmmm, cookies. Homemade pizza & jelly (?) SNACKS! ...complete with two new flavors of Ben & Jerrys. (whoa). We had ourselves a little store-bought treat-fest...
