The next thing you know, everyone's dancing... The guy was the first to hit the dance floor. GETTING SOME! This guy pretty much single-handedly... After dinner, the band came out and they were awesome. Lovelies. Speech! Salad time. First dance! Our ferny table settings were used... The tent was adorned with garlands of moss! Holy moly! Then we made our way through the tent hallway... ...and found our way to the amazing reception area they'd set up! ...and added our names to the list of witnesses! After the ceremony, we walked over to this lovely, ferny table... ...and were married! Congrats! Sarah & Ben explained they'd be having a Quaker ceremony. They stood up in front of all the guests and explained that if anyone would like to speak, to stand up. After ten minutes of giving people the opportunity to speak, they exchanged vows... BBQ! ...and inside were maps to help us find our way! Upon arriving on the island, we were each given envelopes with our cabin assignments... We received an awesome invitation to Sarah & Ben's wedding. A little after 1am, we said farewell! Congrats, Aileen & Ryan! Thanks for having us! After getting settled into our new place, we got dressed up and took the bus to the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in Dauis, Bohol. (Unfortunately, a bunch of this church was destroyed by the big earthquake in 2013). Aileen unwrapping a custom-made pair of wedding dancing shoes for when the heels come off at the reception. After dinner the dance floor... ...that I don't know and it makes me go "Oh, this is what getting old feels like!" Everyone dancing to that song that goes "to the left, to the left...to the right, to the right"... A little after midnight, we piled into the buses and headed back to the hotel. ...and stole the bride and the groom for a dance! ...my parents cut in with a high-five... Shortly after hitting the dance floor... First dance! Cheers! ...followed by the Maid of Honor who had a great slide show of photos! Chris gave an awesome speech... The did the whole cake thing... ...with NO cake-smashing funny business! ...with a kiss at the end! Running the congratulatory line.... The brand new Mr. & Mrs. Battjer!
