Oh my god, this was the best thing ever. They had one of the super beautiful bridesmaids throw a garter belt to all the men. The guy who caught it was told that he had to put the garter back on the girls leg using only his MOUTH and then they blindfolded him! He was so excited!
Everyone has a unique strategy to ensure your brand new spouse doesn't smash cake into your face. Marina went with the rock-solid "hand poised to intervene" defense...
This photo makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. Soooo good. (Bonus points to Jessica for finger-pointing like a professional wrestler from the 80s. Yes!)
After the line dancing was over, I went out to the bar to get a drink and managed to capture this amazing shot of Erika and her dad doing a shot of tequila together! Ha!
...and they came out with their three kinds in a mini-procession! The best part about the whole bit? The fact that they chose Welcome to the Jungle as the song the DJ blasted when they came into the room. Amazing!
Congrats, Greg and Tara! Thanks for inviting us to the wedding! Here's wishing you wonderful and happy life together! (Now come visit us in New York!).
So get this: There's a day camp right next to the country club that was having a pool party and playing loud music. A few of the groomsmen walked over, told them that a wedding was about to start and asked if they'd mind turning their speakers off for the next thirty minutes. They agreed. Well, I guess the ceremony took exactly thirty minutes, because literally the very moment that Jen and Chris turned around and were introduced to the audience as "Mr. and Mrs. Chris Battjer," the music, as if on cue, kicked back in playing "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen at top volume. It was amazing.
