Here's to 2013! Happy New Year! Digestion lounge. Uncle Wayne, still the undisputed champ of the post-meal nap. After Amanda's we all went over to my apartment to order a pizza and watch Peep Show. Kim was still on London time. ;) Maddy's all worn out from making sure that Edie doesn't get to play WITH ANY toys. Thanks so much for having us all over, Leigh & Randy! ...Maddy and I snoozed and I read. ...with this lil long-dog snoozing on my leg. Haha. ...and got some much needed dog-love from Dexter who napped next to me. These two took a little party nap on the drive back to Boulder... ...we headed back to the hotel for a nap! Piper slept in Ellen's elbow crook the whole drive out. Haha. Turn your back on that creep, Peaceful Jared! We kept imaging him waking up to see a stone face wearing his own glasses and laughing SO HARD. French bulldog statue and sleeping bust wearing Jared's glasses. Jared fell asleep first and someone got the amazing idea to start putting art in bed with him. Snoozing snooches and patterned pants. I spent the rest of the day reading with my buddy. All tuckered out for the drive home. Running errands around the neighborhood caught this guy snoozing in front of his garage sale. I like to fall asleep holding Maddy like a smash-nosed football. Haha. Afternoon nap buddies. ...but soon I was alone. ...but Pauly was soon asleep. Still dealing with jetlag issues. Haha. Catching up on dog snoozes. ...and began the long journey home. Four hour flight to Japan. Post-breffis nap. ...make a new travel buddy! Like this sleepy little abuela who spent most of the bus ride bouncing her tiny snoozing noggin against my shoulder. Haha. Adorable. OVERSLEPT! We'd stayed up way too late at Siege's birthday party the previous evening. If you're going to miss an international flight, at least have a good reason! ...she abruptly fell over into Sal's lap! Haha. ...Sal had drifted off to dreamland! Lux told me to get ready to take a picture and then when I was ready... One of the dudes asked if he could get in on our cab with us and then promptly proceeded to pass out on Grant's shoulder. Haha. That redeye always catches up with you. Awww, buddies.
