showing 2016 only · show all yearsJane Anne came by after a bit to join us for a drink.Back in the city that evening, I met up with Dave and Vin at Cherry Tavern...to drink tropical drinks with Vin and catch up on the end of 2016!Miss you, Vin! <3Vin had brought along his most-recent sketchbook and I went through it admiringly.Still my favorite artist!On Wednesday afternoon, Vin came over for a hang and we laughed about....That night I met up wtih Vin and Nina for a bite to eat! Happy November 2016!So cute! I had to help Vin pick out which Dr Randy drawing had the best likeness because he had never seen Randy's face in 3D (only in photos!).After everyone left...All dressed up!Spent the evening hanging out with this guy....with this guy.As of 7pm, the park was ours to start setting up.Everybody lean in!Later that evening, we went to a rooftop deck of one of the Bowery Hotels.Vin, Jodi, Kat & Grant!Summer in NYC is my fave.Fast forward to almost two weeks later....I've returned from my RV Trip and that Saturday afternoon, Vin and I went up to midtown...I've know these two for a loooong time.Later that afternoon, I meet up with Vin and we hung out on the East River.Haha. Such buddies.Vin came by on Tuesday to visit with me and Maddy.On Saturday night I went out to Williamsburg to sing karaoke...Happy birthday, Vin!Went out to Williamsburg to celebrate Vin's birthday with Josh & Ken!...and feasted at Parm!Met up with Vin on Friday...Vin came over on Tuesday morning......and we worked on editing the latest sketches from his......comic book about growing up in suburban CT. Vin on the wrestling team! Yes!Track listing from June 01.Also found a box filled with mixtapes and mix CDs that vin made for me in the late 90s / early 00s.Winter window watching.We picked a few areas (highlighted in blue) that needed more panels.One of the first stories, M'Lady Marion, was almost finished!On Thursday morning Vin came over again to work on the comic!...and laughing about his drawings of his 14 year-old self.Spent the morning outlining terrible things that happened to Vin in his high school years...That afternoon, Vin posted this excellent drawing of me and Eric P, based on a photo of us from September 2015And then we went through 15 pages of new panels......fun to look at his pencil line drawings and work things out before he inks them!We looked through some of his old comics about dating...On Monday morning Vin came over to work on a comic book about his adolescence that we'd started working on together!Went out late night with Vin. Vin came over on Monday morning for our weekly work session!Two and a half hours later, we were finished!...paint my office!Vin came over on Monday afternoon to help me...Friday night drinks at C-tav with Grant, Vin and Maddy.
