Tuesday evening Kevin came over for a hang and a reiki trade. Maddy loves to cuddle with him. Excited for a relaxing night in after being in a strange place. On Saturday evening Akiko came over for a reiki session. Hung out with Kev again later in the evening. Maddy always falls asleep on him in the cutest ways. Kevin came over on Monday for a hang and a much-needed reiki-trade. On Wednesday night, Susti and Kevin came over for reiki... On Sunday night Akiko came over for a visit and I gave her some Atoma a reiki treatment. Kevin came over later for a reiki trade, some BBQ and big ol honking bag of thick, white Volcano vapor. Stayed up late playing guitar... Later that evening Gurj came over for a hang. Maddy loves to snuggle in "leg alley." Read a bit with my lap buddy. Meredith & Jane Anne came over early to hang out. Spent the evening playing guitar! Started the month off strong with a double dog hang Gurj slumber party. After walking these ladies... Later that evening, Matt, Meredith & Ellen came over! Mer was getting ready to take a trip with Dylan for the first time! ...AND Edie! Hahah. Such cuddle buddies. Laid down for a little Sunday couch nap, and was quickly joined by Maddy... Edie hops up onto his lap every chance she gets. Grant is in denial about liking dogs, but they sure like him. Hahah. Welcome to my living room on a Wednesday morning. Woke up to this like it's the most natural thing in the world. ...just how adorable she can be when she has a fawning audience. ...and Maddy was eager to show off... Mer came back to my place to hang out for a bit and worked on some freelance photo retouching. Enjoyed the sun set with Edie. Later that evening, Grant and Amanda came over for a hang. They brought powder-sugar doughnuts... Saturday morning pop-in from the Grizz. ...who Alysha affectionately calls "Monster." Laughing blur... On Tuesday night Alysha came over with her friend Gretchen... Cat came over for a hang! We talked about LIFE STUFF and philosophy and Catrinel was award quote of the month for the following: "Oh, I see now. It was your plan all along to lure me over to to your apartment just so you could tell me that I don't exist!" Hahahah. On Sunday afternoon, Grant came by for a hang. So grateful to have a buddy nearby who likes the surprise pop-in. ...and Brett and Amy came to stay with me for a couple days in New York! Remember when everyone thought the world was going to end on December 21st, 2012? I arrived back from my lovely trip to Paris late on Friday night and was greeted at the apartment by Meredith & Maddy! Thanks again for watching her while I was away, Mer! Grant crashed on Tuesday night. We spent Wednesday morning doing our freelance work and talking about how weird (and wonderful) it is to not have to go to an office every day. And how important it is to have freelancer friends to talk about all the unique problems & worries that come from having a non-traditional job. Jeremy Therapized did not disappoint! Jeet crashed on the couch and got her legs snuggled by these two idjits. Haha. (I hung out with Catrinel in the evening, but didn't take any pics I guess!) ...but she woke up when she heard me giggling. Haha. Later that night, Amanda came over... Ellen came over on Friday evening. Look at that smile! So full of pizza and happiness and getting ready to nap out on a dog-pillow! ...but soon I was alone. Tuesday morning work session in our living room. Caiti and Jagger came over for a hang on Monday. Exactly five minutes later. Hahaha. Pancake nap! Faisal was in town and came by on Wednesday night! Nap buddies. Pauly came back to our place on Wednesday and we... January Sunday morning. Ellen and Gurj slept over on Sunday night because we all had Monday off! Wednesday was our first wedding anniversary! We celebrated with a family portrait. Amanda came back to our place to hang. Living room shaping up.
