Here's Mer's grandmother and mother with Maddy. Later that afternoon, I came back to the apartment and Meredith made... On Saturday evening, Sarah, Ellen and Kaitie came over for some Halloween pre-gaming at our place. On Friday night, Meredith and I had a spooky night at home enjoying some Curly's Vegetarian Lunch (mmmmm).... THE JAFFLE MASTER! On Sunday a whole bunch of people came over for Family Night. Pauly, Amanda, Kaitie... Meredith made an awesome lunch. On Saturday we had a nice homemade meal... Mer was finally out of bed and recovered by Friday! Thai feast for lunch! Dogs couch-battling and honking at each other. Later that night, Ellen, Mandy... I spent Sunday recovering from my 33rd birthday party . Oof. Astra, Amanda & Seva. Aw, yeah! Let's hear it for the auto-timer camera set atop the TV so I could join the photo! ...invited the late night crew over to after-hours at our place! Dennis, Aziza and Donald. Sunday was so hot! We decided to make it a beach day! What can I say? I guess it was a Jodeci July. Ever seen a better looking empty spot on a couch before? Haha. These two guys even nap together all the time. Such buds. After dinner, my parents came downtown to our place so they could say hi to the dogs. Maddy is a face licker with a long reach so you have to be careful or she'll French you before you know what hit you. Later that night Cat came over to hang! My absolute favorite photo of Edie and Maddy. Awwww. Yes, hello? Us? Check out these dog-buds. Chilling. Then later that night, Lisa and Pauly (and Pizza the dog!) came over for Family Night. Later that night Mandy game over and we played some Wii... Maddy likes to sleep behind Meredith when she's working. Haha. So much awesome in my living room it's unbelievable. Just a basic Wednesday night hang. Ten hours later and they're still at it. Although, they moved the BATTLE ARENA to the much larger couch. Back at the apartment later that night, we snuggled with dogs... Aw, really? On my way out the apartment on Monday morning I walked into the living room and these two were just sitting on the couch like this side by side. Total buds. ...she promptly buried her face back under the cushion and went back to puppy-sleep! When I sneaked in closer to get a better pic, Maddy momentarily woke up to see who was in the room. But as soon as she saw that it was only me... On Saturday afternoon, I came back from running errands and found these two sound asleep on the couch in the office. ...and then they settled in together. Edie turned in circles padding the bed down... I told Leigh that Edie and Maddy had become buds in her absence and put the dog-bed on the couch to demonstrate. Tiny dog says goodbye! Around 1:30, the birthday girl realized that she'd had a bit too much to drink and needed to take a little party time-out nap in my office. (Don't worry, Ellen. The same thing happened to me on my birthday !) Wakey wakey, Birthday Girl! Time for the second half of your party! While the three of us were getting our Sunday afternoon relaxation on... On Saturday morning, we lazed around the apartment, caught up and got on our relaxation on. Tiny teeth! Yes, hello? Just doing some 'sploring. Brett, Ted and Mer. Haha. Meredith snoozed on the couch in her classic "book on face to block the light" pose.
