showing 2009 only · show all yearsBy 10pm that night, I was headed home! Coming into NYC.We made it in the air just in time to watch the last of the sunlight break through the clouds and bathe NYC in peach light. The streets in NYC felt like they were a hundred yards wide after the narrow streets in Bali.Home!Roof.We went to some party on the top floor of the hotel on Rivington. The northern view from the roof deck is really beautiful.Went to get treats on Sunday morning and saw a rainy accident on Ave B & 14th.I can see our own pool-less roof from here! And a god-damn pool!Beautiful views of the city......and went up to his ridiculous roof.See you tomorrow night.Central park looks like aliens showed up and airlifted a huge chunk right out of the middle of the city.I know this is dumb, but somehow it's always shocking to me how much it looks "just like the map!" from the air. I love flying over NYC in the daylight.Driving downtown.Awesome new bike lane was painted on a road that's right on my commute to work!Sunday was another gorgeous day. Meredith and I decided to walk across the Williamsburg bridge and enjoy the weather.View of Manhattan from the bridge.Spring nights on the roof are wonderful....to drink beers on the roof and enjoy the evening.Spring 2009 Family Portrait.Nothing beats that first day in spring when you can drive around with the windows down.On Tuesday evening, Meredith and I met up at Radio City Music Hall after work...The trees had just bloomed. After seeing Watchmen, the glass pyramid apartment we saw on 2nd Ave on our walk home held some sort of conspiratorial meaning. Southbound over NYC at night. Beautiful. The cold, clear and wonderfully bleak view from our living room window. Not sure why I took this photo. Snow?On the walk home from Bleecker Street, we came across and old school HOBO FIRE raging in a garbage can.
