On Friday night Catrinel and I went over to Ben & Sarah's apartment to cook dinner and meet their new baby Charlie for the first time! Yes! ...and Siege even threatened to have some! Unfortunately, I didn't pass his "sniff" test. Grant cooked a Japanese dish for us... A little before midnight, I walked over to Matt's for a late night hang (and some hash browns?) I have no idea what he's cooking! While Hans got responsible and started working on dinner.... Back inside, Peter was hard at work... ...on an epic breakfast! ...working on dinner! After the drive back from Sarah & Ben's wedding in New Hampshire , Grant cooked dinner for us! He was halfway through staying with us for a month while searching for a new NYC apartment and so we were treated to meals in exchange for board. Later that night, Grant cooked dinner. She was pureeing them, putting them in the food dehydrator... ...Meredith was dehydrating carrots! On Wednesday night a bunch of us went over to apt 3a for a cooking class that Quinn was hosting! Gurj and Mer got were at work... When I moved to New York in 1999, John was the first person I knew who'd converted a industrial space into a multi-person loft. He gave me all sorts of advice when we built out our loft space in Greenpoint in 2000! He'd since moved into a newer, bigger space and was in the process of building it out. On Monday I came home and Meredith was making homemade empanadas. Meredith made an AMAZING mushroom risotto for dinner. Here, add spices! Later that night, Ellen came over and we had a make-your-own pizza party! For dessert? Leigh making brownies. Ooops! Guess I forgot to include these with April. On the last night of April, Meredith made homemade falafel! UltraChef. Haha. On Tuesday night, Sarah invited a bunch of us over for a homemade dinner! (Bonus points to Gurj for making that face in the background! Hahah). ...cooking me dinner in her bra and paaaaaaaanties! Hahaha. Mmmmm...pan-fried pierogies before bed.
