We took the hound for one last stroll down the boardwalk... Post-beach QT with the houndine. As soon as we got back into town, we picked up our hound and then got on the subway to head back to our Rockaway Beach rental for a few more days. Sunset walk with the dog. I woke up super early on Friday and got all my work done by 10am. I bid farewell to these two... Such party professionals! I came home to find these two fast asleep. Awww, brown mouse! Exactly five minutes later. Hahaha. Pancake nap! Later that afternoon, Caiti came by to claim her pup! We brought them back to our place so they could wrassle in private. Ready? On Saturday morning, we packed up the snooch, hopped in a cab to the Port Authority... ...and took her to the dog park. Maddy was in awe... Maddy favorite place is Leg Alley. So hunchy. Buddies! Faisal was in town and came by on Wednesday night! ...at Cherry Tavern. Back at the homestead later that evening, Meredith took some boring old pretzels... Nap buddies. ...always a scratch away Meredith worked on lesson plans. Maddy wore a hoodie. I worked on my Pecha Kucha slides some more. Mer and Maddy fell asleep on the couch. Thanks! Hound appreciation, morning edition. Maddy gets so sleepy she chokes herself out. ...with a sweater wiener! (PS - look at Maddy's tongue!) On Friday night Mer and I stayed in and... On Thursday evening, we threw the dog in a bag... After we got back from our New Year's Eve trip down in Florida , Gurj came over on Wednesday night for a hang.
