On Tuesday I convinced Mer to come out on a bike ride - maybe we'd get to see another turtle! Later that evening, Mer and I went for a swim and a hot tub. Mer showing off some stocking-stuffer loot. Stopped at an IHOP for a quick bite on the drive up to my parents house. Meredith and I got up bright and early on Thursday and headed to the airport to fly down to Florida for the holidays. We'd be spending Christmas with my family in Stuart, FL and then renting a car and driving up to the panhandle to attend Ty's 3rd annual New Year's Eve party! Ellen & Meredith were nice to come along with me. I was feeling a little shy because it's weird to go to a holiday party when you're a consultant and don't really work at the place! We walked the dogs over to Sheen Brothers... You guys are great and all, BUT...any idea when my mom's coming back? Mandy, Mer and Gurj! Here we go! Next stop... We took the hound for one last stroll down the boardwalk... Sunday was our last day out in Rockaway! Post-beach QT with the houndine. Beach was still pretty sweet, though. We headed over to the beach to survey the damage... As soon as we got back into town, we picked up our hound and then got on the subway to head back to our Rockaway Beach rental for a few more days.
