After getting parked and unpacked, we ordered pickup from Wacky Wok (which Brett paid for with $40 he found sitting in the ATM cash tray at the restaurant! Score!) Post Christmas breakfast! The weather forecast was calling for heavy snow and by the time we'd finished eating... Meredith and Amy kept Maddy company out of the kitchen and away from.. Later that evening, Ellen came over to hang and this time... On Sunday we headed out to Brooklyn to see Marina and Dave and meet two-week old Henry for the first time! Ellen & Mer got al dressed up and went out to a restaurant opening in our neighborhood. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. On Saturday Mer and I went to Kate's Joint. (Man, I really miss that place for veggie breakfast). Meredith knows that later could mean months later and gave me the stink-eye until I packed up my mess... ...went to brunch welcoming Matt back into town after tour! (I think). On Sunday, Meredith and I... On Thursday night, Mer and I went up to her parent's apartment to celebrate Hanukah. Mer's a hairsniffer! Happy November 2010! That's a wrap! After we'd finished shooting with Junior, we raced back up to the roof to take advantage of the gorgeous sunset. If you look closely you can see the duct tape we had to put over his hooves so he wouldn't chip the slate with his clomping around! Checking in, Mr. Ed? ...one of my favorite shots! Nothing better than a boat ride on a sunny day. Those sized waves were WAY too big for us so we ate snacks and watched the other three people in our group surf. Ready for bed. Exploring. On Tuesday morning, we took a day off from surfing (to rest our sore bodies and bruised bellies!) and took a ride into the nearby city of Leon for the day. After we got back, we had pancakes! During low tide, we decided to explore the beach in the other direction. On our walk home we found this little puppy napping in the middle of the street. Good morning! Between sets, Meredith worked on Scratch lesson plans. Got another small set in the afternoon, then lunch! Meredith doesn't believe in sunscreen! Check out that day-two tan! Peter & Mer. Ready to surf a slightly bigger break. 11am Back at surf camp HQ, Meredith was playing fetch... Scrabble is a lot more difficult... The camp came fully equipped with both hammock and beach dog. Arrival. On our way! The ivy on the fence across the street from our apartment looks beautiful in the fall! Bright red! ...so we walked back to the East Village together and met up with Meredith for some middle eastern brunch! It's like living taxidermy. ...you can pretty much pose her however you want. Maddy hardly has any hair and pretty much requires clothing to not constantly shiver once the temp drops below seventy degrees. Taking the hound for a walk. Marigold. Later that evening, we went out to visit Gurj and Jared in Queens and hand-painted signs to cheer Ellen on in during the marathon tomorrow! On Saturday we went out for a massive breakfast.
