The monochromatic Battjers with a big nutcracker. Meredith and I got up bright and early on Thursday and headed to the airport to fly down to Florida for the holidays. We'd be spending Christmas with my family in Stuart, FL and then renting a car and driving up to the panhandle to attend Ty's 3rd annual New Year's Eve party! No dice! They were playing Dark Side of the Moon & The Wizard of Oz together on the movie screen. Here we go! We went out to a late night Thai dinner and were entertained by Karen's Jane's Addiction stories! Sunday was our last day out in Rockaway! We headed over to the beach to survey the damage... Ice cream break! It's the amusement park with the most roller coasters in North America! Woooo! When everybody is all dressed up my parents like to take a group photo so they can include it in the Holiday email my dad sends around (which is like the newsletter version of this site for older people. Haha). Me and Mer getting our gnome on. Mer and I hopped in a cab and headed to JFK a little past 1pm. On Thursday morning we got up early to head into Manhattan... ...and got the royal welcome from the weiner hound! ...we asked them to take a group photo for us! Let's hear it for diner / bowling therapy! Haha. ...and ordered so much food. ...we walked to the beach! Birthday family portrait. Veggie burgers at Royale! ...back to our place for a hang. I met up with Meredith and she gave me... Beachjers. Solid day. Beach bunnies. A little after noon, Meredith and I put on our beach best... Beach hair! Subway circus. Me & Mer. It's a MerBri! ...and hopped in a cab over to the west 40s. But this one's also pretty good. Haha. This one's my fave! Well, we're not exactly jumping in this photo, but I kind of like it. I put my camera on the window on auto timer and we tried to time a group jump shot. Attempt #1. FAIL. ...time to head back! On Thursday morning, Mer and I took the L train out to Brooklyn... Congrats, other Meredith! Let's hear it for internet strangers! After party at our place! We all changed into our civilian clothes and met up in the suite for some... Auto-timer to get myself in! ...for dinner with Rachael and Liam. Other side of the table. A little after 1pm, Quinn came over and then we all headed out together! ...TREAT TIME!
