tagged together in 52 photos edie + meredith Meredith came over for a hang in the evening. Meredith photo-retouching! Meredith had recently broken up with Dylan and our HEARTBREAK HOTEL agreement always stands so she came to stay on the couch for a few days and took turns holding the dogs until she felt better. On Tuesday Mer came over to spend some quality time with the hound ladies. Meredith helped me transport the hounds crosstown. Happy New Year. 2014, here we go! Mer came over to my place a little after 9pm, and we walked with the dogs over to the West Village... On Monday morning Ryan dropped off an Edie with us. Double weinerage! Costume buddies. We had both Maddy and Edie with us! Late Thursday night, Leigh came by and dropped off Edie! On Saturday afternoon my parents came into town to see our honeymoon photos and have dinner. ...to pick up Maddy! Leigh and Scott had graciously agreed to watch our hound for us while we were away getting married on on our honeymoon ! Thai feast for lunch! Dogs couch-battling and honking at each other. We dog-napped Edie! Nap time with a buddy. On Sunday morning we put the dogs in bags (no cages but bags are ok!)... Edie prefers to referee. Three-wiener party! Edie and Meredith wishing me a happy July 1st. Good morning! Haha. Then later that night, Lisa and Pauly (and Pizza the dog!) came over for Family Night. Wiener dogs on the move. ...to attend Daschund Day in Washington Square Park ! So much awesome in my living room it's unbelievable. Just a basic Wednesday night hang. Back at the apartment later that night, we snuggled with dogs... Edie was there too. It was a regular dog party. Haha. Get a load of this guy! Gurj, Mandy, Meredith, Leigh holding up Edie who she snuck up into the balcony via her purse, and Omri. Lazy Saturday. This is one of my favorite pictures of Edie. Aaaah-dorable. So happy to have a dog to cuddle with. Here's Scott and Mer walking her around! (If you look between them on the ground you'll see a teeny, tiny school bus! That's actually Edie!) Here's Meredith making sure our little competitor stays warm by stashing her away in her purse! Here's Mer, Leigh and (a foot-biting) Scott with the little, wiener-y contest all dressed up and ready to walk in her school bus outfit Afterwards we partied on the WienerBus express! Watch out! They'll lick the shit outta your face! Animal FunTime Party House got even better when Leigh came by and dropped off Edie off with us! Look how excited Meredith is to have two little lap-weasels! Meredith and Edie. When we got home, Edie was happy to see us. ...she ran away and hid behind Meredith! Hahaha. I love how you can just see her beady little eyes peeking up over Mer's shoulder. She came in for a closer look... ...and then spent some quality time saying goodbye to Edie... Mom's home! Leigh came over to pick up Edie and she and Meredith modeled their matching shades. I love how Edie's sunglasses are sitting on her snout and her little doggy legs are just hanging down all slack. Hahaha. Best. Photo. Ever! Edie's a face-licker, alright. ...which we later realized pretty much exactly matched Meredith's little blue windbreaker! ...and wriggled under the covers and slid down to the foot of the bed! Hahahaha. ...she got out of the way... Leigh lets Edie sleep in the bed and Edie made it pretty clear that she expected as much from us. Daschunds were bred so that they'd be able to chase animals into holes and they apparently still love to burrow. As soon as Edie saw that I was coming to bed... Fwiends! The room was so overwhelmed by artful majesty that Meredith had to shield Edie's eyes (lest she be blinded by TRUTH!) Meredith models the "Periwinkle Pillbox Pile" version of the hat while Edie wonders if we've all lost our fucking minds. After we freed her she retreated to the couch with Meredith where she could keep a watchful eye on us from a safe distance.
