Took Maddy out for a walk and all she did was stand 10 feet away from my door and watch rats run around deep inside this face-sized hole in the sidewalk. Murder on her mind. Stopped back at home to hang with the monkeys (Edie's butt on the pillow! Ha!) ...she just look at you but can't be torn away. Edie's love affair with my exotic space heater Vornado continues. When you call her name... The looks Maddy gives me are very specific. This one: Got more bone? This one finish. Aww, Piper! They are hilarious to walk together. They are always trying to race ahead in front of each other. I'm the leader of the pack. No, I'M the leader of the pack! ...AND Edie! Hahah. Such cuddle buddies. Laid down for a little Sunday couch nap, and was quickly joined by Maddy... Nice, lil Sunday. Oh, I amuse you? Like a clown? Some kind of clown to you? Pretty much any sound effect works, actually. On Saturday I took a cab up to Leigh's... ...and grabbed an Edie for a little dog-sitting adventure! Now that Max has arrived, Ted is second-fiddle and he'll even let me pet him now. Uh, little help please? Came home on Saturday afternoon to find Maddy with her head stuck through the blanket-hole again. ...the Sisters Houndine. Alysha was in town and came for a visit on Friday night. She tried my Kasina Mind Machine and got some quality hang time with... Brought the pack back to mine to hang. On Wednesday afternoon I walked to Washington Square Park to meet up with Ellen. We had 4 dogs between us. Haha. Such a good boy. ...to sit for a photo on a star-shaped piece of ice. Ok, but why you wake it, though? Always love waking up to find out what configuration of blankets and butt-to-butt arrangements these two have come up with over night. Hey, guess what? Dachshunds are so hot right now. My mom got to pick out our family dog and we got a giant, apricot Standard Poodle named, Goldie! She had a great personality and my mom used to put t-shirts on her and take her to my brother's soccer games as the team mascot. Haha. Here she is in her trademark, yellow Crazy Eddie t-shirt. Haha. Got some quality ear-scratching in with Romeo... Bruce has a really fun, new dog named Dexter! Thank you, sir. The Dude conked out beneath. Conked out! Three-dog couch party Why he wearing that hat? Don't ask me! Haha. These two! Spent Sunday snoozing on the couch and reading with these two wizards. ...relaxing. ..of exactly how skilled my wiener dog is at... Took Maddy for a Christmas evening walk and spotted the chickens out in the garden. Christmas Murder on her mind. I also got this very excellent handset for my cell phone! Maddy was getting stressed out with The Dude trying to play puppy games with her so she sought out... ...the safety of higher ground! Hold it like a boy! ...is that it takes them a really long time to realize that they're not lap-dogs! The best thing about giant puppy dogs... Hahaha. What a grimple! This angle of sleep made it particularly easy... This floppy puppy also passed out on his back. ...drifted off to sleep in Ellen's lap. Watched this friendly beach dog go swimming. ...and bone-chewin! After dropping Maddy over at Leigh's, she settled in for some butt-touchin'... Who wants a treat? Work for it! Edie likes to nestle herself away into the dome bed! Ellen, Hans, Piper and their new Golden Retriever puppy, THE DUDE! ...Ellen had to put her down.. ...and Edie for their evening walk... Caught these two snuggling on the way up to bed. Sunbathing buddies. Got an Edie houseguest on Saturday! She stuck her tongue out at the perfect time! Haha. Everybody all settled in to watch TV and... Oh my god, these superfriends. Hahaha. ...and then we put this one in a bag because it refuses to walk in the rain... How could you resist a face like this? ...and this one! Friday was cold and snowy. I stayed holed up inside with this one... ...managed to finally lick her wiggly toenail loose! Ewwww! (It grew back) All three! On the very first morning of 2014, Piper & Edie helped keep Ellen cozy while she waited for... Mer came over to my place a little after 9pm, and we walked with the dogs over to the West Village... Biggy and Maddy also got to spend some quality time together. Smash them all together! Dog pile! The Hosts with the most....dogs!
