tagged together in 331 photos maddy + dogs ...always a scratch away ...out to meet up with Edie, Leigh & Ryan. Later that evening I took Weinerback Hunchpaw to the dog park. Thanks! ...after Maddy was finished kissing her face... Maddy & Biggy. Maddy and Piper hiding out on the couch... Three-wiener walk before bed. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. Maddly LOVES Edie so much. Haha. ...and took her over to the dog park where she made friends with this pink-eared snooch. Blessed with armrests . We had both Maddy and Edie with us! ...put a weird cape-blanket on our constantly-shivering short-haired dog (a-dorable)... Three dogs is a little much when they're all going crazy and are excited to go on a walk. But when all three of them are tired out... Lucky! Hahah. ...and feeling cuddly, there's really nothing better. I came home from the store to find this going on in the living room. Hahaha. Three-wiener gang! Buds. Back at the homestead, the hounds were so excited to see us they celebrated by chasing each other around in a circle for 90 minutes. Maddy is faster than Teddy and it makes him FURIOUS! When we finally catches her he always administers... ...NECK BITE! And also dogs. Haha. Teddy and Maddy! Double sniff. After, they came back to our place and played with the hounds. Edie and Maddy are almost the same size and they look like negatives of each other! Later that night Edie got dropped off at our place! Haha. Hounds in shades! Awwww, tiny nuzzler. We stuffed the dogs in bags... Yes? Edie came too. Hallway dog-fight! Met up with Scott and Edie in the dog park that afternoon. Maddy's blue-dappled buddy. Dog-centric day. These two were on dropped pizza-topping patrol. Buds. Maddy came in and crashed the party. She has puppy power and Edie doesn't have the energy to keep up with her. Wrassling. WHY U NO SHARE? Matt and Biggy came over for a hang. Later that night we emailed Leigh the picture of the dogs we met and she texted us this photos of the hounds back in NYC. Haha. Dogs, in general, aren't big fans of rock shows. We were dogsitting Edie so there were plenty of doogs to go around. On Saturday afternoon my parents came into town to see our honeymoon photos and have dinner. Leigh explained this to us and then demonstrated. "See? Stackable hounds!" Hahaha. Leigh's building has a lot of stairs. The dogs can climb UP stairs, but they have trouble descending steep stairs and need to be carried down them (because of their midgety legs and long wienery bodies). Turns out that the easiest way to get both dogs downstairs for a walk is TO STACK THEM! ...to pick up Maddy! Leigh and Scott had graciously agreed to watch our hound for us while we were away getting married on on our honeymoon ! Not chewing wire or shoe. Just bone. Dog park. Dog buds. On Sunday morning we put the dogs in bags (no cages but bags are ok!)... Requires two bones. KILL IT ON THE NECK! Wiener parade! Smoker's Bench. Three-wiener party! Watering the hounds. On Thursday night after work, we loaded this critter into her crate (Maddy HATE a crate!) and headed to Penn Station to catch the NJ Transit train to spend the holiday weekend with my family! Couch doogs. These two guys even nap together all the time. Such buds. Badger dogs! This is how Maddy likes to lounge in my lap when I read. Edie doing some chin-sniffing at the dog park. Haha. ...but not without making all sorts of accidentally ridiculous faces. Like this! And this! Hahaha. Maddy is just starting to get the hang of how to chew puppy kibble. She can sort of do it... My absolute favorite photo of Edie and Maddy. Awwww. Yes, hello? Us? Check out these dog-buds. Chilling. DOWN HOUND! Hahaha. Let me taste that delicious nose of yours! Funnily enough, I don't think this is the first time he's had two wieners in his face! Ba-dum-cha! Aww. ...and Maddy had rolled herself up like a taco. I went into my office in the evening and found both of the dogs burrowing into the comforter on the couch. These two were very interested in the smell of frying falafel. Mmmm. Happy April 2009! Squinty. Total buddies. We arrived back at the apartment to find these two curled up in the afternoon sun. Wiener dogs on the move. Hahaha. It's a dog in a bag! (Sung to the tune of Dick in a Box ). So much awesome in my living room it's unbelievable. Just a basic Wednesday night hang. You literally can't have a bad day with these guys around. Three clean noses! No, I ATTACK YOU ! I ATTACK YOU! Ten hours later and they're still at it. Although, they moved the BATTLE ARENA to the much larger couch. Ear cleanse deluxe! No charge for you! Nose licking retaliation. BAP! Stubby brass paw to the ear! When these two fight, they make weird honking noises and if you were in the other room you would think it was geese and not dogs. Total weirdos. Hahaha. This photo makes me laugh out loud. (I also like how there's a rat in the background.) Back at the apartment later that night, we snuggled with dogs... Aw, really?
