Afterwards, I went over to Richie Baxt's famous East Village apartment (Richie's Guitars!) and bought myself this gorgeous birthday present! My first acoustic guitar! First 40 in the bag! Thanks to everyone I've met along the way who made me smile and laugh along the way. Here's hoping for another 40 half as good! ;) Made it to Jacob Riis beach parking lot around noon! Monday was my ACTUAL FORTIETH BIRTHDAY! Rolled out of bed and snapped a pic. It's official - you're on the BACK NINE! Came home and opened my presents from my party! Preggo Sharrison came through! Things were popping by 830! I was so happy to see so many people I love in one place. As of 7pm, the park was ours to start setting up. Meredith & Jane Anne came over early to hang out. It's like karaoke but you're singing along with a piano accompanist. So much fun (but so much harder than karaoke!) Happy birthday, Amanda!
