Back at home watching this idjit happily gnaw her rawhide. Spotted this handsome fella in the dog park decked out in what is probably one of my favorite dog-outfits of all time. Casual daytime dogjamas. Happy Friday the 13th! Another night, another dog party. This is the face Piper makes when I scratch her belly. Haha. Hung out a lot of with this little lady. Trying to walk these two at the same time is tricky. Awww, buddies. And two tiny dogs. On Saturday we got a Piper to watch while Ellen was away on vacation! Later that night, Caiti came by with Jagger and we had a three-dog party on our hands. Adorable beach-dog break! Ellen came over later that evening! We walked the dogs over to Sheen Brothers... Hey, get me outta here! Making new friends. There was a dachshund-pitbull mix puppy that had a long wienery body and a GIANT pitbull head on top. Hahah. Then rode my bike down the boardwalk to Fort Tilden. Spotted this window jailbreaker on the way. HAS SEEN MY PEOPLE? On Wednesday I took Maddy over to Leigh and Ryan's. Tiny howler at the dog park! Drese and Maddy think that they are the same size. Animal friends! Adorable! Drese even humored Maddy with tug of war! After a nice relaxing swim, Edie got gang-brushed! Hold her down!
On Thursday afternoon, I went over to the LES to hang with Edie. Such party professionals! Look what I learned how to do, mom! Sunday morning hound chow time! We also finally succeeded in getting Maddy and Jagger to play tug of war with each other! ADORABLE! I bite your face! On Sunday I hung out with Ellen, but this photo is the only evidence of that! Edie and Maddy pay close attention... ...to Vin eating a slice. Haha. Meredith named her Josie and found her a home just a few days later! I texted Meredith after arriving back in town from San Francisco to let her know I was on my way back home. She texted me back, "Surprise, we're fostering a dog!" Wiener dog reunion! BEWARE! All bagged up and ready to go! ...always a scratch away New dog friends are... ...out to meet up with Edie, Leigh & Ryan. Later that evening I took Weinerback Hunchpaw to the dog park. Thanks! Got to hold Matt's new puppy on the way home! ...after Maddy was finished kissing her face... Prefers naps to arts and crafts. At first I was worried that the place was going to be filled with smug, hoity-toity people - but then I remember that everyone there was a DOG-LOVER and laid back and friendly. Everywhere you looked, people where wearing clothes that indicated that they were dog-fans. Haha. There are so many varieties of dogs! It was wild to get to see so many of them in one place at the same time. This guy trotted around like the handsomest mop that ever lived. Martha, my dear. We were there for the final night! ...but do you have any idea when MY MOM IS COMING HOME? Not that I don't appreciate everything you guys are doing for me... Then I gave this pig-belly that we were dog-sitting a bath! Maddy & Biggy. ...while Spike and Bruno work things out. Maddy and Piper hiding out on the couch... Three-wiener walk before bed. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. Alfred & David. Later that evening, I stopped by David's apartment and admired his MASSIVE tree selection. Haha. Meredith hugging our beach buddy farewell! Back at the homestead, I watched the dog go insane with joy when a local pig showed up on the beach. So excited to make pig-friends! Itchy gets a bucket bath! I decided to go for a post-lunch swim and Meredith snapped this pic of the house dog accompanying me. ...with the house dog! Back at surf camp HQ, Meredith was playing fetch... The camp came fully equipped with both hammock and beach dog. Maddly LOVES Edie so much. Haha. Haha. Costume convention. Bee! We ran into two other winged-dogs on the short walk! On Monday we had Bruno and Spike over! ...and took her over to the dog park where she made friends with this pink-eared snooch. After the shower, a bunch of us came back to our apartment... Blessed with armrests . We had both Maddy and Edie with us! ...put a weird cape-blanket on our constantly-shivering short-haired dog (a-dorable)... Three dogs is a little much when they're all going crazy and are excited to go on a walk. But when all three of them are tired out... Lucky! Hahah. ...and feeling cuddly, there's really nothing better. I came home from the store to find this going on in the living room. It's really funny having these two as guests. Hahaha. Later, our neighbor Russell came by and dropped off his dogs Spike and Bruno! Three-wiener gang! Buds. Back at the homestead, the hounds were so excited to see us they celebrated by chasing each other around in a circle for 90 minutes. Maddy is faster than Teddy and it makes him FURIOUS! When we finally catches her he always administers... ...NECK BITE! And also dogs. Haha. Teddy and Maddy!
