We all know it's not really a party until my luggage gets taken out. Not wanting to disappoint the birthday crowd, it was high time for the kids to make an appearance. So while a bunch of people were outside smoking, I had Grant take my camera outside so he could capture me give Emma the special "Pressed Ham" braining. Noooice!
I mean, this pic is pretty awesome and all. But just imagine how much better it would be if the Hulk fist wasn't contaminated and he could've been wearing it. Fack.
Emma, Grant, Lorelei and myself started the night out getting our free drink on at a party celebrating the opening of Toys in Babeland's new Soho store.
After a few aspirin and several liters of water *whew*, we hopped in the car and drove out to Ross & Jordana's house in the valley where we also met up with Emma Taylor and Lorelei Sharkey who were in LA for two days as part of their book tour.
On Friday night I went over the Blu on Avenue C to wish farewell to
Em & Lo who were leaving the next morning for their eight week, cross-country
tour to promote their
book that had just come out.
Emma, Jamye, Rachel's girlfriend, and Rachel
Kramer Bussel (the fact that I
remembered all three of Rachel's names should make up for forgetting
her girlfriend's).
Earlier in the evening before we left that Mati Hari place, Morgan, the promoter, pulled me aside and invited me to a late night party that was being thrown by P.Diddy and Ashton Kutcher (sp?)...so we rounded up some rowdies and headed uptown to Dorsia to see if we could get some pics of us coldlamping with Demi.
Emma leaned down laughing and put her hair right into a candle that was lit on the table. I was torn between putting it out (which I did) or firing up the cam and getting a pic of her aflame.
We arrived early (around 10ish) to ensure that we'd be able to secure the table right up front next to the karaoke machine. That way later on in the evening when you're real drunk and you want to "correct" people who aren't performing a song up to par by singing over them as loudly as you can, you'll know that they can hear you. Because hey, people love to know when they're doing something wrong. Especially at karaoke. (From L to R: Lorelei, Sean, Joey, Emma and Mary.)
