Had a chill afternoon. With my buddy at my feet. (Likes to sleep with her butt on my shoulder.) Meredith came over for a dinner and a Maddy-cuddle. We put the cushions on the floor for Maddy so she doesn't jump off the couch a hundred times and hurt her wienery back. Kevin came over in the evening for a hang and was perplexed that Maddy didn't get up to greet him when he arrived. (She saw me packing my suitcase and was depressed. Lol). Spent Sunday evening reading with a ween between my legs. Tuesday evening Kevin came over for a hang and a reiki trade. Maddy loves to cuddle with him. Excited for a relaxing night in after being in a strange place. On Saturday evening Akiko came over for a reiki session. Maddy was excited to be back on her couch. Sometimes in the winter months, I like to dig out a box of old stuff. Hung out with Kev again later in the evening. Maddy always falls asleep on him in the cutest ways. Kevin came over on Monday for a hang and a much-needed reiki-trade. ...and couch cuddles with my lil buddy. Back in NYC! Thai dinner... On Wednesday night, Susti and Kevin came over for reiki... On Sunday night Akiko came over for a visit and I gave her some Atoma a reiki treatment. Ended the month with a reiki trade and a hang with Kevin. Happy July 2017! Kevin came over later for a reiki trade, some BBQ and big ol honking bag of thick, white Volcano vapor. And then we ate too much BBQ and smoked too much weed. (Maddy's fave place to be is between someone toasty legs.) Evening reading with Maddy. Tuesday afternoon reading with my cuddle buddy. ...with my bone-chewing, ankle-warming companion. Had a nice lazy afternoon hanging with Maddy. Her little dog chin on my leg along with the sunshine usually puts me to sleep in about 3 minutes. Back at home, the pants come off for a nap with Maddy on the couch where we both enjoy the afternoon sun through the window. ...and will go back and forth chewing them both. Happy double-bone March 2017! Maddy likes to have two bones... On Sunday night Kevin came over to hang and trade reiki. Played guitar. Winter loop over and over. Napped on the couch with this dum dum. These photos are chill but re-readying my text diary from the time, this was a really weird an angsty time for me! Something so cozy about being on the couch while it's snowing out. Later that evening Gurj came over for a hang. Maddy loves to snuggle in "leg alley." ...with my favorite lil buddy. Caught Meredith and Maddy cuddling on the couch on Saturday morning. Had the day off on Friday! Played some guitar and read another excellent book on etheric body by Master Choa Kok Sui! Read a bit with my lap buddy. Big meal led to some team-napping! This gal likes to come up on the couch to avoid the dreaded VACUUM! Hung out with Jane Anne and couldn't resist snapping a pic of her buddy-napping with Maddy. Awww. Wiener dog reunion! With this lil lady keeping my leg warm. ...and these two kept on snoozing. Aww, couch buddies. As far as I'm concerned, it's not a proper hang out unless it includes a small nap. Gurj woke up... ...and keeping Maddy warm with my legs! Mer came over for dinner and to cuddle a Maddy. Vin came over on Monday afternoon to help me... Back at home with my lil duck. Sleeping with a tiny dog-ass on your shoulder! Now you know why your bicep smells like a dog fart! Ha ha! Within 10 minutes of being back at my apartment, he conked out for the night. (Sweating it out at the baths can make you SO TIRED). Started the month off strong with a double dog hang Gurj slumber party. After walking these ladies... Dog-gang hang! Got some real good reading in with my reading partner. Hung out with these two hounds. Tue evening I walked over to Amanda's for a dinner party... ...AND Edie! Hahah. Such cuddle buddies. Laid down for a little Sunday couch nap, and was quickly joined by Maddy... Edie hops up onto his lap every chance she gets. Grant is in denial about liking dogs, but they sure like him. Hahah. Alysha was in town and came for a visit on Friday night. She tried my Kasina Mind Machine and got some quality hang time with... Spent my Saturday hanging out with these two hounds. ...then spent the afternoon reading on the couch with my buddy. Dachshund infestation! Grant came over in the morning and rescued me... ...that you have no choice but to hold a tiny dog and fall asleep on my couch. Welcome to my living room on a Wednesday morning. Woke up to this like it's the most natural thing in the world. ...just how adorable she can be when she has a fawning audience. ...and Maddy was eager to show off... Squad. Meredith spend the weekend hanging out with Maddy while I was away both days taking my class. This one starts at one end of the couch and slowly moves across to the other end to follow the sunbeam as it moves. Haha. I love her sun-snoozing face. This one passes out so hard in a sunbeam. Had a Sunday afternoon hang with this handsome gentleman. Showed Grant how to plug the guitar into GarageBand and tried my best to prod him into writing songs again . Woke up Tuesday morning to find these two rough-housing on the couch and making weird goose-honking noises at each other. ...and then she pulls her head out and attacks Edie! Repeat times one-hundred. Maddy likes to play this game where she buries her head under a blanket (she can't see anything so she thinks she's invisible?)... Finished up early enough to take a late-afternoon nap with these two bozos. Later that evening, Grant and Amanda came over for a hang. They brought powder-sugar doughnuts... Bookends. Saturday morning pop-in from the Grizz. Came home to find the dogsitter smashing the dog! I was sick for almost a whole week! By Sunday I was feeling better. Meredith came over to hang out and to see Maddy. Someone fell asleep while wearing their hand-hat! Sometimes I make it all the way to bed. Sometimes the couch is bed. Cat came over for a hang! We talked about LIFE STUFF and philosophy and Catrinel was award quote of the month for the following: "Oh, I see now. It was your plan all along to lure me over to to your apartment just so you could tell me that I don't exist!" Hahahah. On Sunday afternoon, Grant came by for a hang. So grateful to have a buddy nearby who likes the surprise pop-in. Back at home, I fell asleep on the couch, leg-cuddling my 10lb, speckle-head and woke up at 7am to head to my real bed. Here's to 2013! Happy New Year! ...and Brett and Amy came to stay with me for a couple days in New York! Remember when everyone thought the world was going to end on December 21st, 2012? I arrived back from my lovely trip to Paris late on Friday night and was greeted at the apartment by Meredith & Maddy! Thanks again for watching her while I was away, Mer! On my way to the airport on Sunday night, I stopped off at Meredith's new apartment to drop the dog off with her. Maddy LOVES when Grant sleeps over, but Grant has mixed feelings about his first canine-friendship.
