Any time Maddy sees luggage come out, she gets nervous she's going to get left behind and so she tries to make sure she's sitting on one of us at all times. Look who I found couch snoozing together in the afternoon? Ellen came over on Friday evening. Sun snoozers. Did some napping. I like to fall asleep holding Maddy like a smash-nosed football. Haha. Afternoon nap buddies. ...but soon I was alone. And two tiny dogs. With a belly full of breakfast, the few Ambien Grant had taken on the plane were lingering and he still felt pretty altered. He decided to lay down to sleep it off. Maddy LOVES Grant and was so excited to have her favorite buddy back to nap with. These two. Post-beach QT with the houndine. The couch seems like it was designed to camouflage Maddy! New daybed got delivered first thing on Wednesday morning. Maddy was a big fan. Finished up the night relaxing on the couch with my buddy. I came home to find these two fast asleep. Exactly five minutes later. Hahaha. Pancake nap! My brother was in town and crashing at our place! Maddy favorite place is Leg Alley. Faisal was in town and came by on Wednesday night! Nap buddies. I worked on my Pecha Kucha slides some more. Mer and Maddy fell asleep on the couch. I got home and found this one using a throw-pillow as a blanket. Haha. ...with this little grimple who loves using my shin as a chin-rest. These two fuggers were conked out before 8pm... As soon as you lay down on our couch, this tiny visitor jumps up to say hi. I'm usually big spoon. Saying goodbye to these two on my way to work in the morning. Amanda came back to our place to hang. Saying goodbye to the ladies on my way out the door to work. Things worth noting: Meredith reads Heinlein and Maddy sleeps with her arms out and eyes half-open like a tiny zombie! Came home later to find these two curled up together. After, they came back to our place and played with the hounds. Post roof-nap nap. Maddy keeps diligent watch from her legs. Saying goodbye to my couch buddies on Monday morning. We spent the afternoon lounging... On Saturday afternoon, Matt and Biggy came over for a hang. For dinner we went to Meredith's parent's house. Here's Mer's grandmother and mother with Maddy. Later that afternoon, I came back to the apartment and Meredith made... On Sunday a whole bunch of people came over for Family Night. Pauly, Amanda, Kaitie... On Saturday we had a nice homemade meal... Mer was finally out of bed and recovered by Friday! Thai feast for lunch! Dogs couch-battling and honking at each other. I spent Sunday recovering from my 33rd birthday party . Oof. These two guys even nap together all the time. Such buds. After dinner, my parents came downtown to our place so they could say hi to the dogs. Maddy is a face licker with a long reach so you have to be careful or she'll French you before you know what hit you. Later that night Cat came over to hang! Later that night Mandy game over and we played some Wii... Maddy likes to sleep behind Meredith when she's working. Haha. So much awesome in my living room it's unbelievable. Just a basic Wednesday night hang. Ten hours later and they're still at it. Although, they moved the BATTLE ARENA to the much larger couch. Back at the apartment later that night, we snuggled with dogs... Aw, really? On my way out the apartment on Monday morning I walked into the living room and these two were just sitting on the couch like this side by side. Total buds. ...she promptly buried her face back under the cushion and went back to puppy-sleep! When I sneaked in closer to get a better pic, Maddy momentarily woke up to see who was in the room. But as soon as she saw that it was only me... On Saturday afternoon, I came back from running errands and found these two sound asleep on the couch in the office. ...and then they settled in together. Edie turned in circles padding the bed down... I told Leigh that Edie and Maddy had become buds in her absence and put the dog-bed on the couch to demonstrate. Tiny dog says goodbye!
