After the show, we piled into a van to drive over to a restaurant that was still serving food. The band had the next day in Charlotte off and Matt had to leave to play another gig so he told me I could have his bunk for the night. I slept like a baby. So much you can learn about tour-life in this photo! Candles, Chinese food, toothbrushing & man-stretching! After I came back to the bus and caught on on the interwebs while Matt practiced. Post-show food, drinks and catch-up. Later that evening, Fatty and I went to see the show together. Nothing better than seeing your friends on stage doing what they love. Later in the night I went over to Caiti's to meet up with John, Scott and Ty who'd just arrived in town. Met up with these two for lunch on St. Marks. Met up with Matt early on Wednesday evening for some frisbee in the park. Nighty night! Meredith and Matt joining the slumber party. Matt and I played some light-up night frisbee. I threw one over by the barn and the friendly pig inside was oinking with curiosity about our strange green-glowing toy. We found a fire pit near the barn and got ourselves a nice campfire going. Matt had just gotten back in town after a long tour and she had organized a surprise party for him. I don't remember if there was a special occasion or if this was just a spring friend hang, but check out the solid Saturday night crew that rolled up into our place! ...to meet up with this guy. We ended up playing frisbee in East River Park for two hours. On Tuesday night I went out for drinks with these guys! Later that evening, we went out for drinks at HiFi! Later that night, we had a few people over for a low key hang. Power of Michael McDonald! Never trust a big butt and a smile! Three books deep! Matt and Jenny getting serious on a Moving Out duet! Private room at Sing Sing on a Saturday night. Prime time! Matt and I did Suddenly Seymour , one of my favorite duets! On Saturday night a whole bunch of us got together to go out for karaoke! Yay! So awesome. ...that Matt was playing in. Matt and Jenny said their farewells and after they headed out we passed their room and couldn't help but notice... Our crew pretty much took over the porch.
