The next morning I woke up at 1:30pm to find this guy on the couch sleeping with sunglasses and a top-notch creeper-stache! Headed back up off the beach! Ty, Matt & Jami Windy. Snappy. 1922's most highly revered comedic troubadours. Coffee and dessert were presided over by Dashing & Handome. Around 9ish, everyone started getting dressed up for the big dinner party. Matt came over later on in the evening and at 2am... Later that evening, we met up with Matt again and went to L'asso where we got DESSERT pizza after our regular pizza! Nutella and marshmallow, yes! ...went to brunch welcoming Matt back into town after tour! (I think). Matt, Craig, Mer and Ellen. Then we all went to see Louis CK live at Carnegie Hall! This photo makes me really happy. We adjourned to a bar closer to homebase and ordered a bunch of food. Cleanliness with a kick. Matt performed his famous JAZZ VAC routine. We hadn't worn costumes, but with with a little improvisation and little borrowing... Matt & Tinkerbell! ...Matt whipped something together in no time. Most relaxing day. On Sunday morning Dave helped get a second scooter running which meant we could all ride. Time to buddy-up for adventure! Last-call portrait. The next place we went to had some sort of weird oversized beach chairs out front. We reprised our Gulf clean-up costumes from the other evening. Group dinner! Sunset jump shots. Hahaha. Unbelievable sunset. You serious, Clark? Oh man, the kite was SO HIGH. It kept doing out until it was hardly even a pixel visible to the human eye, and then the string finally broke. ...to keep spooling his kite out higher and higher. Everyone else reeled their kite in and Matt used our rolls of string... Bringing the scooter out of storage. Haha. A friend of his was working to clean up the BP oil spill in the gulf and when he heard we need three costumes on short notice, he let him borrow some gear! After getting suited up... We landed right at 10pm, we had a text message from Ty telling us the address of a Halloween party he was at. He told us he had costumes waiting for us! A little later that afternoon, I took the subway up to Penn Station and met up with this guy. Hey there, handsome.... The Panty Bandit... Astra, Tyson & Matt came over later! ...and to celebrate Rachel's birthday! The night culminated with Matt nipple-touch-serenading this couple into gentle, lap-collapsing sleep. On Wednesday night we went to Freeman's for dinner to celebrate Mark's birthday! ...Matt and Ty came over! I love early September when everyone's still gung-ho about squeezing the last bit of nice-weather fun out of summer. ...to play frisbee with a light up frisbee ! Later that evening, a whole bunch of people met up at our place... ...so we rounded up all the snacks and headed back downstairs. Love these two. Fruit! Amber met up with us and it was also the first time I met Tyson. We got shit-hammered and ended up going back to Matt's place! French toast and pancakes! Haha. Matt jumped so high he was out of frame! ...and got off at Brooklyn Bridge We took the 6 train... Kim, Jessie & Matt. Later that evening, we all met back up to do a late-night walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Wonderful! I had such an amazing weekend. Thanks, everyone! I love you! The men's are grey and blue! A little after noon, Mer and I met up with Matt, took the subway out to Brooklyn... Lucky! Love this guy. Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! We even got to play beach frisbee! BIRTHDAY DREAM COME TRUE! We picked up Charles and Sarah and hit the subway. Haha. Mostly-empty subway car means that you can do things like try out your beach chair on the subway. The best thing about having an August birthday is that you can invite people to the beach to celebrate your birthday! A little before noon, we met up with Matt and Karen at the CVS by the 1st Ave subway to stock up on beach supplies... Love you, buddy. Matt's UCB graduation show! Woooo! Monday morning breakfast time! Dishes were whipped up... They tickle so hard it's almost torture. ...LIKE THIS! It makes me feel... Rabbit ears. One for the fellas.
