Later that night, Grant, Amanda and I headed over to Fatty's apartment to enjoy the dinner that he and Meredith had whipped up! First a little tomato, basil and mozzarella salad...
Later that night, I was back in New York. I called up Grant and told him I'd returned and that I had some pretty sweet facial hair to show off. Grant asked me to come meet him and Amanda at a bar they were at in the East Village. At first I refused (because I was afraid that I'd run into people I knew with my facial hair), but then I decided that I'd just bring along my electric razor and shave the thing off as soon as they'd gotten a chance to see it laugh at it. Look how bad Grant wants to touch it! JEALOUS MUCH? Hahah.
On Friday night we met up with Brandon who was in town from Budapest and went to his friend's party on the LES (Brandon, you may remember, was the internet stranger who went out of his was to be our gracious host when Grant, Jake and I were in Berlin and Budapest a few weeks prior.)
We left the party and headed back to Beford to catch the subway. Check out this "off to see the Wizard" shot that either Katie or Siege managed to snap. Hahaha.
Meredith, Grant, Amanda, Sarah and Devin (who we all met through this site! Devin did all the design-work for the first incarnation of the Fiasco site and as a thank you, the band flew he and his wife up to NYC to see the first show!)
After the insanity of my going away party earlier on in the week at my apartment, my official "last night in NYC" was feeling a little anti-climatic. We all sat around wishing we could think of something appropriate to hallmark the occasion. But after a while we couldn't think of anything and we decided to call it a night. That's when we headed outside and discovered that...
"Hey, Grant - I'm going to head home now. What are you doing? You going to stick around much longer?" Amanada so busted trying to take Grant away from his own party for a little "private" welcome back party.
Amanda and Grant smooching! Scandalous! (He saw this photo a few weeks ago and was like "I kissed Amanda?" Which would mean this is the second time they kissed where he was drunk enough to not remember it when confronted with photographic evidence).
This is the 2nd best pic of the night. Vin & Josh blow up Grant's spot ("Who does that guy think he is back there?") as he tries to kick it to Amanda in the background. HAHAHA!
