(Mer's face is priceless). ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! ...head to a bar right down the street to meet up with these two to see.. Meredith and Amanda out in the unreal, bath-warm water. Later that evening, we went out for a late night dinner on the strip. Fun motorcycle sidecar taxi ride. Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel for an early night jammy party. ...over to the hotel to meet up with Amanda! Amanda had been in Hong Kong and when she'd heard that we were going to be in the Philippines, we'd planned to meet up! Ok, I'll admit it... UGLY FACE VERSION! So much goodness! Later that night we went over to vBar for Carol's going away party! Such a fun crowd. A little after midnight, Amanda came over and Mer got dressed up for the party (holy moly!). Walking back to our apartment; arms laden with presents. (PS - Babes!) Make a wish! Box o' birthday cupcakes! Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! ...and piled back into the van to head home! This group photo makes me so happy. Hahaha. ...and handed them out so we could kick the night off with a festive streamer explosion! Feel pretty lucky to know these two. ...Erika and Scott took the train in from NJ to visit! Amanda came over and met up with us and we all headed out in the drizzling rain... We got off the A train at Canal Street and walked across town to Vegetarian Dim Sum House . This place is incredible. Even if you're not a vegetarian, I encourage you to check it out. (C'mon, it's not like you even know what's usually in them anyway, right?) I love this pic. Mmmmmm, pizza. Mmmmmm, beer. We made sure we had a segregated table. The Jews sat on one side of table and repped for the Tribe with this awesome chopstick Star of David...
