a person in 395 photos jared ...with this winning team! Here we go! Drove up with Jared & Gurj on Friday evening. Did I mention it was filled with three different flavors of PUDDING? Which is always just an excuse to hang... Got post-show drinks at Lucy's. Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us! Found my crew! Whoa. With each passing line... ...Bohemian Rhapsody. I feel like... Party breather. ...shot anna beer power combo. Found some of my favorite party soldiers by the bar outside... Ready to... Karen & J-rod fired up the decks... Friends, look. I'm going to be honest with you. If fairytale weddings aren't your thing... After dessert, we ping ponged until the wee hours. The Cat / Jared match got HEATED! ...with Gurj, Jared... Rare Tompkins reunion with these guys! Challing. And had a nice catch-up with these guys! ...before catching the subway home. Awesome beach day, guys! Stopped off to smash a few slices... Jared had a slightly different reaction to the Nutcracker. The best. Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! ...Mer, J-rod and Gurj came over for Tiny's Giant Sandwiches and a mega-hang! Dessert! ...then the mans (with honorable man-baby, Juliette). Post-dinner Juliette play party. Even Baby Juliette was there! Look at all the people that... Mozz sticks and Fruity Drink is always my go-to. The crowd was a little light because of the cold weather and snow, so after we finished watching the first set of comics, the house invited everyone there to stay and watch the second set of comics for free. (That hardly ever happens!) Surprise comedy double-header! On Wednesday evening, Gurj and Jared came over for a hang and then we headed over to the West Village to meet up with Grant... Later that evening, I biked over to Soho to have dinner with Fran, Gurj, Jared... Happy 31st, J-rod! Love you, buddy. A little bit of this... On Sunday afternoon I went over to Jared & Gurj's to celebrate Jared's birthday! Before heading out for the evening, I gave them a sneak peek of some upcoming IKAD pics that I'd just uploaded) That evening Gurj & Jared came over for Vietnamese sammiches and then we walked over to 3rd Ave to see American Hustle. ...and a box of GOODIES! Matt helped put together a to-go goody basket for... ...then the desserts came out! Pie strategizing! Hung out with these guys afterwards. Jared & Jesse. Later that night I biked to the Coffee Shop in Union Square to have a pre-show dinner with Christina, Sarah, Quinn, Gurj & Karen before walking over to... Newlyweds (!!!) Jared and Jeet came over later in the evening for a Vietnamese sandwich feast! We stumbled on the Manhattan outpost of Smorgasburg and stopped to get our treat on. Neat to be able to walk around and explore such a cool project! The installation had three different pods. An open, geodesic dome-framed tent for living, a storage / greenhouse, and a garden with bike-pedal-powered electricity. Jared peeking into the tent. ...the bride and groom to make an appearance! Haha. Dance floor party instigating. Jared & Gurj's brother! Always fun to see families partying together for the first time! Jared and his mom dancing right next to... TA-DA! Jared is searching the crowd looking for family members so that they could all get together and recreate... ...the dance floor got going. It was really great. After the cake was cut, everyone went into the planetarium room and we watched a video about how Gurj & Jared got together projected onto the ceiling! ...but they kept it from getting to out-of-hand! It only devolved into a little bit of mutual cake-face smashing... If was really funny to watch Jared & Gurj have a "Don't you dare smash cake in my face or I'll smash cake in your face" stand-off! Time to cut the cake! Party version. Juliette got to hang with the wedding party. VIP baby! I'm lovin it. Hahahah. ...Steve, gave an excellent toast! ...inside the planetarium! So there was a giant model of the moon next to the wedding party's table! The wedding reception was held... JUST MARRIED! ...and then we shot some pics in Jared's dad's motorcycle! One last pics with Jared's family... ...and configurations! ....getting our wedding party photos on... Then we spent the next thirty minutes.... Congrats, Gurjeet & Jared! I love you both so much! Congrats, Mr & Mrs Piccone! A little before midnight, we loaded up the groom into a van and sent him onto the after party! After drunkenly crashing around in the woods, I came inside at 3am to find these guys crashed out on adjacent couches. ...of sleeping gentlemans. We managed to get the entire gang together for a group photo before... Burger in the right. Pizza in the left. 100! Guest of honor!
