...we quietly took this photo and let him wake up on his own pretending we hadn't noticed. About 20 minutes later, we emailed him this picture. Hahahaha.
When I came back from lunch on Tuesday afternoon, Mark was busy coding and hadn't noticed that Patrick had slowly slumped down in his chair and fallen asleep; the victim of a post-lunch food coma. Rather than wake him up...
Pounding the pavement and trying to meet with small business owners is HARD WORK. We spent four hours walking around and returned to the office exhausted.
I walked down to our new apartment (just a few blocks away) to wait for the moving guys in the truck. At first, I couldn't find Meredith - then I climbed the ladder to our new loft and found her out cold on the plywood. Haha.
We're trying to train Maddy to stay out of the bed but it's really difficult because our bed is really low to the ground (and because she is really adorable). So ended our first month as married folks!
On the morning of the big day, everyone let me sleep in while they went out for breakfast. Meredith took this photo of my parents coming in to wake me up! Haha.
Meredith missed all the neck-mirror and night-cheese fun because she snuck away to TAKE A NAP AT THE PARTY! Haha. I sneaked into where she was sleeping and thought I was being all crafty when I snapped this picture...
On Saturday evening I took the NJ Transit train out to my parent's house in New Jersey to help them clean out the basement in preparation for selling the house.
Later that night a whole bunch of us went to Amanda's for birthday treats and a game of Trivial Pursuit. Everyone was so tired from being out in the sun all day (well, except for Siege of course) and kept falling asleep!
Around 7pm I noticed that Meredith had gone done disappeared! After peeking my head into a couple of rooms I finally found her napping upstairs (with her tiny dino arm up in the air).
Twenty minutes into the ferry ride, and Meredith was totally sleeping. (I don't know how in the world she can fall asleep in the pretzelly shapes she does - but it never fails to amaze me)
We had to hike about 10 minutes down a super-steep mountain in order to get to where the waterfall basin was supposed to be. Before heading back up to our scooter, Meredith decided she needed to rest a bit...and then she FELL ASLEEP ON THE ROCKS. Hahaha.
On Friday morning I got up bright and early and sneaked out real quiet so that I could go on a two-dive trip that I'd booked the previous day. (PS - Sweet sleep-bandana, Axl).
