Awesome to see musicians you grew up with and see that they're still going at it as hard as when you originally heard about then over 20 years ago.

After BBQ, a bunch of different people played music. And then after a few songs, the musicians invited kids and anyone else who wanted to play music up to join them. I wish every party had this. It's so weird that we mostly listen to recorded music at parties instead of make it.
band
They have concerts out behind their building every Tuesday in the summer and people come to watch the bands even when it rains.
band
Tuesday, June 18th was also the day investigative war-reporter Michael Hastings was killed in a very suspect single-car crash. RIP Michael Hastings. (If you don't know his story, he's definitely worth reading-up on).

...Silversun Pickups play from the side-stage and laughed about how from a distance, Joe Lester, their keyboard player, looks like Chris Black doppleganger. (Only because of the beard and glasses from afar - up close, no dice).
