Quinn & Kim returned from the house with some kind of fruit and wine drink they'd concocted together. At one point, someone looked up at at the stitching pattern towards the top of the tent and noticed. "Hey, that looks like a shirt collar up there." Then, "Hey, Wait a minute, you guys..." We wandered around the farm and communed with nature. I spent at least forty minutes sitting on the stone fence watching the tree branches swirl and "breathe." Yep, this is pretty much the whole afternoon. Haha. What do horses like? Haaaaaaay! Matching flannels photo shoot! Ellen made fast friends. Such handsome! The house had an amazing back porch. ...celebrating their friends' birthday! Later that night I went to meet KTB and Kelly who were in the neighborhood... FAM! Thanks for inviting us all out, Quinn! Trying to enjoy the last bit of outdoor evening weather! ...the bride and groom to make an appearance! At some point in the evening, someone else usually takes my camera away from me so that I end up showing up in some of the pics! Kim and me. Nie to have a group of friends... Back inside I got back to the task of documenting all the pretty ladies... ...over to the reception area... Meredith took a seat... ...on Kim's styling couch! Worn out from partying, pizza and long admiration for Karen's dress... ...everyone was feeling sleepy. The after-party place had giant scorpion bowl drinks... Here we go! I'll post this version instead of the one where I'm "keeping my balance" by holding onto Kim's dreamy leg. Our group made a slight detour along the way to climb all over a giant ant. Babes. The next morning, Kim and I grabbed breakfast in downtown Reading. Swimming baby group shot! Strong. Back at the hotel, we all changed into our swimwear... And the winner! I rented a car and drove out with Kim on Friday. Matt had just gotten back in town for a few months on the road touring. This time there were more people and more dancing! Late night hang with these two! We talked about all kinds of life-stuff and then... ...we had a myofascial trigger point party and used foam rollers and lacrosse balls to find all our horrible muscle knots. (I do this for at least an hour every day). ...unsuccessful, save for this one guy, attempt to get people to dance. Haha. Sometimes the best dance parties are the smallest ones! Afterwards, we went to Dreambaby for drinks. ...and spent the rest of the evening at my place eating San Loco and taking online versions of the Myers-Briggs personality test . ...they had a really cool East Village roof. Haha. We left around eleven... On Monday night I went out to dinner with Kim and Davo and then we ended up having a late night at Lucy's... On Thursday morning, Kim moved from London to NYC! I offered up my extra room for her to crash for a couple nights before her new place became available. After Amanda's we all went over to my apartment to order a pizza and watch Peep Show. Kim was still on London time. ;) ...Amanda's apartment and Grant treated us... I love how this photo turned out looking like an impressionist painting. I know these smiling faces even when they're blurry. Kim was in town visiting from London! On Tuesday evening, I went out to the West Village to celebrate Davo & The KTB visiting from London! I took this first photo... Class portrait. ...The Smith for 4pm brunch. KTB was in town from London. After the bridge, we headed up to Veselka... I love this picture so much! ...and got off at Brooklyn Bridge ...out to Brooklyn... Kim, Jessie & Matt. Head-bonk hello! Haha. We stopped off in Matt's apartment so that people could change into shorts and swim wear. On the way to the dog park, I made everyone stop and pose. Haha. ...and then we met up for brunch! Super-late that evening (3am!) we ended up at Odessa with KTB and Davo who had just recently arrived from London! Niki, Meredith and Kim tearing into brunch. (Man, if I walked into a diner to have brunch and saw myself dining with these three, I would fucking hate me.) David and Kim met us there and we danced up a storm.
