Later that evening I walked up to Karen's place to hang with her and Jeet. Before going out for an Indian feast, we made up a sit-com theme song for ourselves. I still remember the words and melody: "We used party ten years ago, and now we're all still friends!" Haha. Take Two was a bullseye! (The Dude all scrunched up in Hans' arms! PRUUUUNE! Works for dudes too, apparently! <3 Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... I spent the beginning of October out in Montauk for Ellen & Hans' awesome wedding (lots more pics of that coming soooooon!) ...who burns white sage non-ironically. My friends have been (semi) supportive of my transition to a person... Karen & Quinn! I took a picture of all the Polaroids from the evening. Including this one of me & Karen that is solid gold! On Saturday a whole bunch of us met up... ...and got brunch at Kate's (where we used to go for brunch almost every weekend in 2003-04!). This group photo makes me so happy. Hahaha. Attendance photo! I had never heard of them, but the movie is so wonderful and heartfelt that it was really great to get to see them play live after watching a documentary about how much they love to rock. Karen and me. The next morning I went to brunch at the Hotel Rivington with a big brunch crew to welcome Jenny's cousin (I think!) who was in town visiting. Rapture. While we were waiting for the guy to drop off Leigh's new keys, Karen arrived. Drinks like that inevitably lead to a group that looks like this. Me and Karen. So happy! Hahaha. Not. Even. Close. Vaaaaaaaaa-poooooooooor! Hahaha. Congrats Karen & Sarah! The van ride home! Grant sat upfront with me... I said goodbye to Karen and left the Annex... Me and Karen! I like how this photo...
