Mr. Hart stepped to the floor to dance dirty with Gurj and Jenny! (Gurj's face!!!) Ellen handed me a really neat picture frame cut-out that her father made and asked me if I'd use it to take group photos! Caught her and the Jeet laughing about something from across the room. Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... I spent the beginning of October out in Montauk for Ellen & Hans' awesome wedding (lots more pics of that coming soooooon!) Gurj getting to know Mr. Hart! ...going the other way! Ian & Gurj Gurj getting all made up! Pretty! To Ellen & Hans! Congrats! ...the women all sneaked upstairs to tuck Matt into bed! So sophisticated! We got our ping pong on for a few hours... Ellen & Piper gave us the tour of the grounds! ...with Gurj, Jared... Rare Tompkins reunion with these guys! And had a nice catch-up with these guys! Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! ...Mer, J-rod and Gurj came over for Tiny's Giant Sandwiches and a mega-hang! Girl's got a couch in her office like WHAT! After luxuriating in her space, we headed over to the Hayden Planetarium together! ...to see Gurj's fancy new office! Time for bed! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GURJEET! So fun when Josh & Jenny bring Juliette out to party. Jeet, Peter & Mer ...celebrate Gurj's birthday! Spent Sunday getting in a pre-birthday hang with this lovely and talking about the ever-present feeling of "OK, NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO BE DOING WITH MY LIFE" over tomato soup and grilled cheeses at the short-lived BIKINIS on Ave C. Later Tuesday night I went out to Mesa Coyoacan to celebrate... Mozz sticks and Fruity Drink is always my go-to. The crowd was a little light because of the cold weather and snow, so after we finished watching the first set of comics, the house invited everyone there to stay and watch the second set of comics for free. (That hardly ever happens!) Surprise comedy double-header! On Wednesday evening, Gurj and Jared came over for a hang and then we headed over to the West Village to meet up with Grant... Later that evening, I biked over to Soho to have dinner with Fran, Gurj, Jared... Happy 31st, J-rod! Love you, buddy. Then we drove over to Whitestone Lanes! On Sunday afternoon I went over to Jared & Gurj's to celebrate Jared's birthday! Before heading out for the evening, I gave them a sneak peek of some upcoming IKAD pics that I'd just uploaded) That evening Gurj & Jared came over for Vietnamese sammiches and then we walked over to 3rd Ave to see American Hustle. ...and a box of GOODIES! ...these two. We send you on your way with grapes... Later that evening, I walked over to Hans & Ellen's in the East Village for a big holiday feast! Check out the table spread! On Saturday evening I went over to Karen's with Gurj and ate WAY too many Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Ow, my stomach! Lovelies. Nail party. The house had an amazing back porch. After a few hours of warm-up , we graduated to a card game called Apples to Apples. Getting the table set. ...and we got treated to some tuneage courtesy of the house guitar. Maddy likes to watch but needs a little help Hung out with these guys afterwards. Me and Jeet. Yep. Haha. Later that night I biked to the Coffee Shop in Union Square to have a pre-show dinner with Christina, Sarah, Quinn, Gurj & Karen before walking over to... She'd gotten some last minute tix through work. Gurj texted me out of the blue asking me if I wanted to grab some pizza... Like old times. Gurj came over a little after midnight, and in contrast to our asleep-on the-couch by midnight Saturday night a few weeks ago... FAM! Thanks for inviting us all out, Quinn! Just when I thought the night couldn't get any better... Passing baby Juliette around the table. Trying to enjoy the last bit of outdoor evening weather! ...that you have no choice but to hold a tiny dog and fall asleep on my couch. Gurj came over for a feast-over! That's where we feast on so much Thai food... ...the bride and groom to make an appearance! Haha. ...Gurj and her mom! Congrats! It was really fun getting to see Gurj dance with her mom. ...to Gurj. ...that's not shy about dancing at weddings. Immediately following the conclusion of the movie... It was really great. After the cake was cut, everyone went into the planetarium room and we watched a video about how Gurj & Jared got together projected onto the ceiling! ...but they kept it from getting to out-of-hand! It only devolved into a little bit of mutual cake-face smashing... If was really funny to watch Jared & Gurj have a "Don't you dare smash cake in my face or I'll smash cake in your face" stand-off! Time to cut the cake! Party version.
