I met up with Gurj in Chinatown and we headed to... Gurj came over Monday night for an Empanada party! Met up in Tompkins for a summer park hang with Gurj and Jared. Thanks for having me along, Gurj! Before the final headliner (The Weeknd?)...we headed out to the least unhealthy dining option we could find; Hooters! Sunday was the last day of our buddycation! We did facemasks on the balcony... ...for FRIED PICKLES and fruity DRANKS! Caught a couple of shows back at the festival and then went out... When Hardee's is the only walkable choice! Oh yeah, Alabama! Heading out for breakfast... ...Hangout Music Festival! Gurj was there for work and had... Hey! Lemme ask you something. Just lemme bend your ear for a second. Happy birthday, Gurjeet! Love you! On to the next room! On Thursday afternoon I met up with Gurj on the Upper West Side to celebrate her birthday! I set up my new tripod and played around with my new remote trigger. As far as I'm concerned, it's not a proper hang out unless it includes a small nap. Gurj woke up... Meredith & Gurj came over and we feasted on Organic Grill. Friday night feast-party with these two lovelies! ...for a hang with Jared & Gurj! She feel asleep on my couch cuddling Maddy her feets! Gurj came over for a Friday night hang! Jeet came over for a Sunday evening hang. Important window conference with all the ladies. On Saturday morning, we checked out and said farewell before splitting up into separate cars for our drive home. Here's to a brand new year - love you all lots! ;) We packed up later that afternoon and drove to a nearby hotel so we could enjoy one more night out in the Hamptons before driving home. Happy 2016! Walked up to Karen's to hang out with these guys who had made a plan to watch SPORTS! The house had an excellent kitchen. Sunday 11am Will I ever get one of those keyboards you can dance on? Portraits of people I love being chill af. Slumber party! We set up the tables and chairs in the garage out on the driveway and... It's funny you can just rent someone's house to hang out in. I met up with Gurj and Jared on Sunday afternoon ...and then headed over to pattern bar to meet up with Gurj's friend, Crista Cool to wander around on the lot and see some of Jim Henson's creatures. Met up with these two in the afternoon, and we hit the town to eat and run some errands. Got to the hotel around 5. Been a while since I've had a hotel slumber party with these two! Started the month off strong with a double dog hang Gurj slumber party. After walking these ladies... Left-overs tinfoil swan for the win! Happy July 2015! Gurj came over after work on Friday... <3 Happy birthday (several weeks later), Karen! ...to celebrate Karen's birthday (observed!). Happy belated, Karen! Tiny's Giant Sandwich. Had friends over for food and drinks Saturday night! Solid hangs. ...to the park in Queens to celebrate Juliette's birthday. Friday night fresh-juicing with my favorite Bassi. ...and had ourselves an old-fashioned pizza party. We love you! ...to celebrate Gurj's birthday! ...with this winning team! Later that evening I walked up to Karen's place to hang with her and Jeet. Before going out for an Indian feast, we made up a sit-com theme song for ourselves. I still remember the words and melody: "We used party ten years ago, and now we're all still friends!" Haha. Seamless dinner decisions! We face-timed with Karen! Haha. Gurj came over for a Friday night hang! I don't know about cheekbones, but it's definitely a way to make your friend laugh. As the giggles set in, on of the gals told us that the Olsen Twins' secret to always having great-looking cheekbones in their photos is to look at each other and silently say the word "Prune." I enjoy watching women do each other's nails and find it very calming. Maybe it's because it reminds me of how other animals preen each other? But most-likely it's because I grew up in NJ. After breakfast, we got down with a hardcore... Haha. Ladies I love. Which is always just an excuse to hang... After the state of singledom was finished being assessed, it was time to salve our wounds.... Got post-show drinks at Lucy's. Thanks for having us all over and cooking for us!
