Meredith came over for a hang on Sunday. We were supposed to go to Sarah's birthday party on Saturay, but it was cancelled when her friend Marc Spitz died suddenly. (RIP, Mark! <3)
Meredith had recently broken up with Dylan and our HEARTBREAK HOTEL agreement always stands so she came to stay on the couch for a few days and took turns holding the dogs until she felt better.
...she was a good sport about listening to all my songs I played for her and my deep, insightful realizations about how maybe I'm not so young anymore. Maybe. Haha.
Meredith was in the neighborhood because she was working on getting her name changed back (Awwww, gain a Battjer - lose a Battjer!) and came over for an afternoon pizza party!
Davo came back to mine for a few days on Tuesday. We spent the afternoon designing fliers to try to get more people to come to our new weekly dance party....
Grant came over early on Thursday morning because we'd agreed to help my neighbor Theresa move a bunch of large pieces of art work from her storage unit to her studio.
Cat came over for a hang! We talked about LIFE STUFF and philosophy and Catrinel was award quote of the month for the following: "Oh, I see now. It was your plan all along to lure me over to to your apartment just so you could tell me that I don't exist!" Hahahah.
Remember when everyone thought the world was going to end on December 21st, 2012? I arrived back from my lovely trip to Paris late on Friday night and was greeted at the apartment by Meredith & Maddy! Thanks again for watching her while I was away, Mer!
Jeet crashed on the couch and got her legs snuggled by these two idjits. Haha. (I hung out with Catrinel in the evening, but didn't take any pics I guess!)
Our living room after the new furniture was delivered. Here's our new orange chair, rug, coffee table and couch! I also posted an ad to sell the beige fold-out bed on Craigslist because our new place is much smaller and we don't have room for it!
On Saturday, I unpacked the boxes in our bedroom that were blocking in my favorite green chair, and Maddy took the opportunity to turn it into a makeshift bed.
