Before the month was over, we headed back to Hans & Ellen's for ONE LAST FEASTIN. I think Hans was out of town so it was a potluck style dinner. Happy birthday (several weeks later), Karen! ...to celebrate Gurj's birthday! Friday night I went over to Ellen & Hans for a dinner party... Take Two was a bullseye! Waking up! Hahaha. So good. Here we go! Cards & shots! It was really cold outside, and the space was a big, open converted barn, so we had to get the woodburning stove cranking and stay sort of close. Went to a dinner party at Ellen & Hans' on Wednesday. After we ate, we busted out the big screen projector... ...and take her around the party so she could say hi to everyone. Awww. Two more! ...more people joined in! Each time we snapped... To Ellen & Hans! Congrats! Hung out with these guys on Monday evening... On Sunday afternoon I biked down to the JMZ platform, met up with Ellen and we took the train out to Williamsburg to meet up with Quinn at North Brooklyn Farms . Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! Friend portrait. First the ladies... Happy birthday, Mer! A little before midnight we went up onto the roof to bring in the new year with the rest of the city! Serious party business! Monday night dinner with all these lovelies! ...lived in Apt 3A . ...and we all reminisced about basically everyone we know has at some point... These are my friends. There are many like them, but these ones are mine. On Friday night, I went over to Ellen & Han's apartment for a potluck dinner and a night of awesome hangs with all these lovely people that give me the feels so hard. ...two tables of people I love to celebrate... Quinn, Hans & Ellen. Left over pizza for breakfast! We found a fire pit near the barn and got ourselves a nice campfire going. LET THERE BE LIGHT (other than the giant paper globe that Matt was walking around with). I like this photo very much. SUPER HANS! Such a nice mid-week catch up! Friend reunion at Apt 3a! Sweet summer roof. Turns out that the Real McCoy Sarah had purple hair! ...Mexican brunch on! YOU GUYS! I JUST MARRIED SOME PEOPLE! The bride can't be late, right? Closer! Alright, give me angry! A little after 1pm, Quinn came over and then we all headed out together! Happy birthday, Meredith! We all met up at an all-raw vegetarian place called Quinntessence. Class portrait. Here we go! (PS - Jared's expression in this photo makes me laugh so hard). Where everyone was required... Quinn, Ellen & Sarah! We got caught posing and our group grew. Class portrait. Family version. CONGRATULATIONS, JENNY & JOSH! Let the negotiating and trading begin! ...and Quinn prepared an awesome healthy feast (she's an amazing health coach ) Snack table. Then the rest of the brunch party-goers began arriving. We started walking over to Sarah's house at 5:30. I secretly texted the party and told them that we were on the way and that anyone who was there from out of town should go up on to the roof and hide for a while so that Meredith wouldn't get tipped off to the fact that something was up! Later that night, we had a dinner with Quinn, Faran and Ellen. Awwww, how cute is this photo? They're spelling M-A-T-T! Congrats on your new apartment, buddy! We're so excited for you! Then later that night we went over to Sarah and Gurj's to get our food and drink on before heading up to the roof to watch the fireworks! Quinn and Ellen Stay classy, everyone! Team 3 was Quinn, Ellen and The Joobs. And the legend of "FEET! FEET! VAGINA-FEET!" was born.
