I think Hans was out of town so it was a potluck style dinner. Early morning hang with these ladies I love in Quinn's very cool "pillow room." Made it to Asheville just as Meredith & Quinn were leaving the Halloween party they were at! Watched a movie together before bed. Spent the evening together playing card games. The house had an excellent kitchen. Sunday 11am While out exploring for a place to eat dinner, we discovered a Zoltar machine! We celebrated our day out with a snack... Waking up! Here we go! It was really cold outside, and the space was a big, open converted barn, so we had to get the woodburning stove cranking and stay sort of close. After the state of singledom was finished being assessed, it was time to salve our wounds.... Went to a dinner party at Ellen & Hans' on Wednesday. After we ate, we busted out the big screen projector... ...Hahaha. And then Quinn took us through her collection of... ...it's really obvious... ...more people joined in! Bridesmaids, suit up! To Ellen & Hans! Congrats! Patterned Dress Gang. Later in the evening I went to La Palapa party room to celebrate Karen's birthday! Friend portrait. First the ladies... At one point, someone looked up at at the stitching pattern towards the top of the tent and noticed. "Hey, that looks like a shirt collar up there." Then, "Hey, Wait a minute, you guys..." FAM! Thanks for inviting us all out, Quinn! ...and carried it around like a baby. Haha. ...that's not shy about dancing at weddings. Here we go! These are my friends. It looks like they're putting on a play! Two and a half hours into the drive, we stopped at a diner up 87. So excited for a rafting adventure! ...outfitted us with paddles and marched us over... ...we grabbed some lunch and waited for our group to be called to head down to the river. After getting suited up with life jackets... Me, Mer and Quinn in the back. Ellen brought along travel goodies for Sarah & Quinn...including another bottle of Rhum JM! Friend reunion at Apt 3a! OMFG, Quinn, Karen, Gurj and Sarah came in one of the best GROUP COSTUMES I've ever seen: the In Living Color FLY GIRLS . Ahahahahahah. That makes Meredith Sexy Fire Marshall Bill? We all changed into our civilian clothes and met up in the suite for some... YOU GUYS! I JUST MARRIED SOME PEOPLE! The bride can't be late, right? Closer! Alright, give me angry! (Ellen shrugs! Around 10:30, after the group had gotten a couple of drinks in them,... Hallway buds. Later that night a whole bunch of people came over to hang and play Cranium!
