Ellen & Mer got al dressed up and went out to a restaurant opening in our neighborhood. On Friday night Ellen came over showing off a fancy new coat. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. On Tuesday night I went to an advisory dinner for Ellen & Emily's clothing company. That's a wrap! Thanks to everyone who helped out (especially Klaus for letting us bring a horse into the hotel lobby)! Back outside for some founder photos! Hahaha. She was so excited to see us! Later that night we met up with Ellen who had just picked up her official number to run in the New York Marathon coming up in two days! Ellen came over later that night to hang (and to help eat the cupcakes!). Later that evening, Ellen came over for a hang. We fed her lots of home cooked food and then settled in for... After the shower, a bunch of us came back to our apartment... Quinn, Ellen & Sarah! En route I ran into Ellen on the street! Ellen came over and hung out after. In addition to delivering an ice cream cake to the beach, Ellen also offered us a ride home! So glad you made it! Oh, there was also a PIE in addition to the ice cream cake. Batting treat-cleanup at sunset! Thanks, Ellen! Instead of ice cream cake, we just had an Ice cream soup party! Ellen got really lost on the way to the beach and didn't show up until after 5pm. On the way home we stopped for gas... Snack table. Post-midnight Cranium session = strictly for the hardcore. Ellen, Matt and Mer! Later that night we met up with for a late dinner at Black Market! We stuffed the dogs in bags... Satisfied treat customer. Meredith made an AMAZING mushroom risotto for dinner. Double-stacked buddies. Haha. Back home. Later that afternoon, we took all the dogs over to the park and there was a special surprise waiting there for Maddy... On Saturday we were dogsitting Amber's dog, Charlie. Ellen came over to add Piper to the dog mix. Make a wish! Happy birthday, Gurj! On Saturday we finally felt settled into our new place enough to invite people over for a little Saturday night boardgame get-together. Ellen, Josh, pale-faced post-puke me and Matt on our way out of the party. Congrants on LA, Gideon! Sorry I barfed on your roof! Happy April 2010! It was a pretty great house party. I mixed way too much booze with way too much weed and ended up puking on the roof at 2am. All of Gideon's stuff had already been sent ahead to LA already so he'd been camping in the bedroom. Haha. Later that night, Ellen came over and we had a make-your-own pizza party! After the planetarium, we went back to our apartment and got a feast delivered and hung out. Wooo! On Monday night Karen, Sarah, Ellen, Mer and I went to the Comedy Cellar because Ellen had all scored us free tickets to attend... NO HANDFACE. In other news, Leigh discovered that Piper doesn't like HANDFACE one bit! I left the game-watching crowd in the living room to check out what was going on in the office. Me, Mark, Ellen and Mer.
