tagged together in 83 photos marina + fatty By 1pm on Sunday we'd finished driving the last of the guests down the mountain and then we cleaned up, packed and headed back to NYC. Thanks for coming up to celebrate the cabin with me, everyone! It was nice to be surrounded by people I love to process the bad news about my dad. Had some holiday songs... Late night crew. On Saturday night I headed out to Brooklyn for my favorite holiday party of the year.... Getting ready to head back home! ...Dave & Marina and their kids! ...and then Henry demanded his fair share of the action. Maddy waiting for grill-droppings. Back at the house, we got to meet Viotet... Marina's comedy preggo-belly! (Grant's expression in the background!) On Saturday afternoon, me, Amanda & Grant met up with a very pregnant Marina & Fatty for breakfast! We had homemade hot doughnuts out back at Back Forty. Later that afternoon, I walked a few blocks down the street to visit Fatty, Marina & Henry! A lovely day... On Saturday afternoon we met up with Marina & Dave at Back Forty. Look what showed up in the mail on Monday! Awwww. ...because Dave had planned a surprise birthday party for Marina! Who I caught here with a mouth full of... Marina and Dave! ...but not before putting his sweater over his face like a NINJA! Hahah. We also heard a great story about the time that Dave saw Marina standing on the subway platform and decided to go over and say hello... Dave even took the time to dress Henry up in a Nasty Magic onesie! On Sunday we headed out to Brooklyn to see Marina and Dave and meet two-week old Henry for the first time! Then we all went to see Louis CK live at Carnegie Hall! Frank, Marina (with Henry inside!), Dave, Mer, Liz & Matt! Shout at the Devil onesie! Haha. ...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! On Wednesday night we visited Marina and Dave and they proudly showed off the matching NASTY MAGIC t-shirt and onesie someone had given them as a gift. On Tuesday night I went out to Brooklyn to have dinner with Marina and Dave. (T-minus six months until baby Henry!) Van full of awesome. Action shot walking over to the van. ...3...2...1... On the way up to the roof, I found these four huddled around Siege's computer screens laughing and smiling. Dave, Marina and Ellen. But they're still checking each other out. Yeah Newlyweds. ..and up on to their building's awesome roof deck. ...to have dinner at Fatty and Marina's new apartment in the West Village. We went out onto their fire escape... Mr. and Mrs. Fateman! Congrats, you guys. NOW COMES THE DIP. Yay. Dave took Marina out onto the dance floor. At first glance it looked like they were doing some kind of crazy-synchronized rehearsed dance routine... Six Piece Nastee !Ta-da! ...whereas Dave employed the OPEN AS WIDE AS YOU CAN technique. Haha. Everyone has a unique strategy to ensure your brand new spouse doesn't smash cake into your face. Marina went with the rock-solid "hand poised to intervene" defense... Hahaha. On Friday night a whole bunch of us went over to Siege and KT's to surprise KT with a welcome back party! On Wednesday night we met up with Dave and Marina and headed over to Meredith's parent's apartment in order to celebrate Pesach ! Fatty reads the bit about the part that has the thing with the egg. Awww. On Saturday night a bunch of us met up for drinks at the Sly Fox. Here's Frank, Marina and Fatty. We were bummed to have missed Jaymes and Gretchen's wedding, but the upside to being in town was that we got to go to Fatty and Marina's barbeque! Hahaha. The party settled in around him as he donned his KINGLY TIARA, and anxiously waited for him to start ordering people to do all sorts of terrible and wonderful things! But after a couple of decidedly non-action-packed moments had passed, it became apparent that we had a SHY KING on our hands! Marina and the Fatty! Hahaha.
