Pineapple is my favorite fruit to slice up. I don't think God is a man in the sky with a beard but every time I behold the spiraling geometric beauty of a pineapple, twist off it's crazy crown and then taste the sweet, tangy fruit inside, it's hard for me to think about this all being an accident.

The fact that I can get fries, a delicious falafel and a phylo-dough spinach pie in the middle of the night on a Tuesday is the reason that I'll probably never be able to leave this wonderful, cursed city!
