Alysha was in town and came for a visit on Friday night. She tried my Kasina Mind Machine and got some quality hang time with... Mission accomplished, Brett hit the couch. Spent my Saturday hanging out with these two hounds. ...and tire him out nice and quick. Girl's got a couch in her office like WHAT! After luxuriating in her space, we headed over to the Hayden Planetarium together! ...then spent the afternoon reading on the couch with my buddy. Dachshund infestation! Grant came over in the morning and rescued me... Time flies when you're having fun! ...that you have no choice but to hold a tiny dog and fall asleep on my couch. Welcome to my living room on a Wednesday morning. Woke up to this like it's the most natural thing in the world. ...just how adorable she can be when she has a fawning audience. ...and Maddy was eager to show off... Nap time with Teddy! After drunkenly crashing around in the woods, I came inside at 3am to find these guys crashed out on adjacent couches. Passed out portraits... ...of sleeping gentlemans. Mer came back to my place to hang out for a bit and worked on some freelance photo retouching. Enjoyed the sun set with Edie. Squad. Meredith spend the weekend hanging out with Maddy while I was away both days taking my class. This one starts at one end of the couch and slowly moves across to the other end to follow the sunbeam as it moves. Haha. I love her sun-snoozing face. This one passes out so hard in a sunbeam. Had a Sunday afternoon hang with this handsome gentleman. Showed Grant how to plug the guitar into GarageBand and tried my best to prod him into writing songs again . Woke up Tuesday morning to find these two rough-housing on the couch and making weird goose-honking noises at each other. ...and then she pulls her head out and attacks Edie! Repeat times one-hundred. Maddy likes to play this game where she buries her head under a blanket (she can't see anything so she thinks she's invisible?)... Finished up early enough to take a late-afternoon nap with these two bozos. Later that evening, Grant and Amanda came over for a hang. They brought powder-sugar doughnuts... Bookends. Saturday morning pop-in from the Grizz. Came home to find the dogsitter smashing the dog! ...and giggle blur. ...who Alysha affectionately calls "Monster." Laughing blur... On Tuesday night Alysha came over with her friend Gretchen... I was sick for almost a whole week! By Sunday I was feeling better. Meredith came over to hang out and to see Maddy. Someone fell asleep while wearing their hand-hat! Sometimes I make it all the way to bed. Sometimes the couch is bed. Cat came over for a hang! We talked about LIFE STUFF and philosophy and Catrinel was award quote of the month for the following: "Oh, I see now. It was your plan all along to lure me over to to your apartment just so you could tell me that I don't exist!" Hahahah. On Sunday afternoon, Grant came by for a hang. So grateful to have a buddy nearby who likes the surprise pop-in. Back at home, I fell asleep on the couch, leg-cuddling my 10lb, speckle-head and woke up at 7am to head to my real bed. Remember when everyone thought the world was going to end on December 21st, 2012? I arrived back from my lovely trip to Paris late on Friday night and was greeted at the apartment by Meredith & Maddy! Thanks again for watching her while I was away, Mer! On my way to the airport on Sunday night, I stopped off at Meredith's new apartment to drop the dog off with her. Maddy LOVES when Grant sleeps over, but Grant has mixed feelings about his first canine-friendship. Grant crashed on Tuesday night. We spent Wednesday morning doing our freelance work and talking about how weird (and wonderful) it is to not have to go to an office every day. And how important it is to have freelancer friends to talk about all the unique problems & worries that come from having a non-traditional job. Jeremy Therapized did not disappoint! Jeet crashed on the couch and got her legs snuggled by these two idjits. Haha. (I hung out with Catrinel in the evening, but didn't take any pics I guess!) Frozen fruit bars for dessert. Friday was our fourth day together at Chez Silverman. Mer and Ellen went out to run some errands... Any time Maddy sees luggage come out, she gets nervous she's going to get left behind and so she tries to make sure she's sitting on one of us at all times. Oh, you know just a relaxing Tuesday night at home using my new body atlas to help me find ass-knots with my weirdo cane. You? Look who I found couch snoozing together in the afternoon? Later that night, Amanda came over... Ellen came over on Friday evening. Sun snoozers. Look at that smile! So full of pizza and happiness and getting ready to nap out on a dog-pillow! Did some napping. I like to fall asleep holding Maddy like a smash-nosed football. Haha. Afternoon nap buddies. ...but soon I was alone. Still dealing with jetlag issues. Haha. Tuesday morning work session in our living room. Caiti and Jagger came over for a hang on Monday. And two tiny dogs. With a belly full of breakfast, the few Ambien Grant had taken on the plane were lingering and he still felt pretty altered. He decided to lay down to sleep it off. Post-beach QT with the houndine. Later that evening, everyone came back to our place for dinner and drinks! The couch seems like it was designed to camouflage Maddy! New daybed got delivered first thing on Wednesday morning. Maddy was a big fan. Finished up the night relaxing on the couch with my buddy. I came home to find these two fast asleep. Exactly five minutes later. Hahaha. Pancake nap! Oh, just lounging with three remotes, a laptop and an emergency puke bin, just in case. My brother was in town and crashing at our place! Post-show Jodeci relaxation. Maddy favorite place is Leg Alley. Faisal was in town and came by on Wednesday night! Nap buddies. I worked on my Pecha Kucha slides some more. Mer and Maddy fell asleep on the couch. I got home and found this one using a throw-pillow as a blanket. Haha. ...with this little grimple who loves using my shin as a chin-rest. Pauly came back to our place on Wednesday and we... ...Hank took a little nappy nap. January Sunday morning. Ellen and Gurj slept over on Sunday night because we all had Monday off! Wednesday was our first wedding anniversary! We celebrated with a family portrait. ...like this. These two fuggers were conked out before 8pm...
