fatty

fatty
...and we headed over to Luna Lounge to see the Fatty play bass with Fireworks Go Up.
fatty
...PASSOVER! Awww, yeah - lemme hear ya CHALLAH! Heheh. Here's Fatty cold propin' for yet another JDate photo. Manischeitz and matzoh makes the ladies crazy.
fatty
We also managed to catch a few party-goes (who shall remain nameless) engaging in some very unorthodox Passover traditions...
fatty
...but that doesn't mean they rocked any less harder. After the set, Fatty and the boys packed up their gear and got ready to begin the long drive back to New York City. Me on the other hand...ON TO PART TWO
fatty
Hey, the Fatty might not have a horde of raving, fanatical lesbian fans...
fatty
Then Fatty's band played.
fatty
Alison and the Fatty!
fatty
After recharging the batteries for a while, we hit the street and got some grub. Mandy opted for more traditional TexMex fare while the Fatty said "Fuck it" and got hisself a motherfuggin corn dizzawg.
fatty
Napping and relaxing.
fatty
After Piebald, Mandy and I checked out some other band (I forget their name) because Mandy's band was going to be playing a few shows with them and she wanted to say hi and support them. Then we met up with the Fatty and went back to Sarah's hotel (where I was now staying) to get out of the heat and relax for a while.
fatty
After hitching a ride to the new hotel (a little closer to town) I bid the band farewell, hopped a cab and headed into town to meet up with Sarah...
fatty
...Guitar Center. Awwww, yeah. The Fatty needed to pick up some gear for his bass amp.
fatty
Before heading over to their new hotel, we piled into the van and went over to...(ps - Hey Dan, close your mouth)
fatty
Band shot. Scott, Dan and the Fatty. aka - Fireworks Go Up.
fatty
...Fatty and his band were staying! Fatty and Scott (the band's road guy) had gotten into town from NYC via van earlier that day and were kind enough to let me crash in their room. Thanks guys!
fatty
[Insert obligatory "Fatty gets pussy" joke here]. The end! Woo!
fatty
the drive back was uneventful. Fatty and I rokked.
fatty
I don't think there's a caption that I can write here that won't be me in trouble - so intead I'm just going to use it to compliment Seth on his awesome Trogdor sweatshirt. Hot news, dude.
fatty
Fatty and Miriam. Right around this point in the night - they turned the music off. Yep, we closed out three different Boston establishments.
fatty
Even Jews should leave room for Jesus.
fatty
This photo makes me happy.
fatty
Some of us hitting it harder than others.
fatty
Fatty reacting to the spectacle.
fatty
After that we all went back to Seth's place. We hung out for a while, and then Fatty decided to head out with Miriam and her friend to get something to eat. A likely story.
fatty
Something about tits! Ha!
fatty
His over-the-top rokk antics even managed to bring a closeted 80s hair-metal groupie up out of her seat.
fatty
Over in the corner, I found the Fatty making time with Miriam (Seth's cute cousin who he'd just been introduced to).
fatty
What's up, seven people in a compact car. (PS - Check out Fatty's "I got a chick on my lap" face. Hahah)
fatty
Oh, you thought I was just being funny when I capitalized ROKK on the last page? Ninja, please! Check out Fatty bringing the pain (whilst fisting a king can of Sappora, no less).
fatty
Fatty getting ready to ROKK the mic! Don't think this night is over! Oh, no! We're just getting started. Hunker on down in you seat there and get comfy and when you're ready, check out the rest of the night.
fatty
Cake time.
fatty
Liz, Fatty, me, Birthday Boy, Heather and Colin.
fatty
Here's Fatty and Liz getting ready to surprise Seth.
fatty
Before you read the following story - take a good, long look at this photo. Ok, ready? So after finishing his lunch, Fatty goes to the bathroom when he comes out, he asks Liz and I "Hey, why can't you flush the toilet if there's a train in the station?"

Me: "Huh?"
Fatty: "There's a sign hanging in the bathroom. It says "Don't flush if train is at station."
Me: "Oh, well train toilets used to empty out onto the tracks so when a train was in the station, they didn't want people flushing the toilets which would cause the entire train station to reek like shit and piss."
Fatty: "Really?"
Me: "Yeah, it was like that back in the day."
Fatty: "Huh, that's neat."

        --thirty seconds of silence--

Fatty: "So wait, why can't you flush the toilets in here?"

I tried explaining that the sign was there because the entire restaurant was decorated in a "train motiff," but Fatty didn't believe me. He told us that after he'd peed, he kept looking out the window for a trainstation to see if there was a train in it. Hahaha. In the end, I had to call our waitress over and get her to corroborate my explanation.
fatty
Later that night, the Fatty felt like "uhhh, maybe a little Thai, dude?" So we headed over to this joint on Newbury Street. And then after dinner we headed over to Boston Billiards, the place where we'd be surprising Seth.
fatty
Awww.
fatty
Who loves this guy more than me?
fatty
We woke up early on Saturday morning, thought about skiing for a half-day, but when Fatty informed us that his pulled muscle still really hurt, it was the only excuse we needed to reset the alarm for noon and go back to sleep. We made it into the car a little before 1pm and started driving to Boston for Seth's surprise party.
fatty
Later that night, we hit the "town" and had some pizza at a restaurant named after...
fatty
All we really want to do is snuggle down in bed together and read gossip magazines and eat (delicious) Fudge Shoppe cookies. So busted.
fatty
After dinner, Liz left Fatty in the room to go make a phone call. We thought she would be gone longer and so when she came back early, she was given sneakpeek into what "macho" guys like Fatty and I do when there aren't ladies around we have to worry about showing off in front of.
fatty
First off, Friday was March 12th, so let me give a happy birthday shout out to little brother Brett! Happy TwoFour, playa! We got up a little before 8am and by 8:30 were were all dressed and ready for the mountain (PS - Hey Fatty, Captain Kirk just contacted me on his communicator - he wants his shirt back)
fatty
Shortly there after, I wiped out pretty badly and we decided to hit the lodge for some lunch and hot totties.
fatty
Here's me and the Fatster on the lift up for the first run. The first half of the day was great - but in the afternoon, the temperature dropped significantly and the mountain got super fogger. On one of his last runs, Fatty ate shit wicked hahd (that means he fell hard, for any of you not familiar with New England's quaint colloquialisms), and pulled a muscle pretty badly.
fatty
The next day (Thursday), Fatty and I headed up to Midtown to the Girl Scout's offices to pick Liz up (she had to put in at least a half day).
fatty
Vermont is far away.
fatty
And after we were done taking pictures of us doing things that you probably ever shouldn't do in front of a sign that says "Girl Scouts"...
fatty
Twice. Hahah. When we were passing Duncan Donuts on the way out, Fatty saw they had special St. Patty's Day donuts and decided he should get one because "St. Patty rhymes with Fatty."
fatty
We still managed to somehow get caught in rush hour traffic leaving the city and it took us like 2 hours to get 45 miles away. Slightly discouraged, we decided to get some roadside food. And Fatty decided to make the best face ever.
fatty
...that's right. The one thing my mom forgot to mention was that all of the ski clothes that they had were purchased at the height of the eighties' fluorescent colors craze. Check us out! (You may need to dim your monitor's brightness setting in order to do so).
fatty
Now, neither Fatty or I had been skiing in several years and so we didn't have any ski gear. We were going to buy all new ski coats and gloves, but when I mentioned our upcoming trip to my mom she said "We have a whole trunk of ski gear - why don't you boys come out and visit and you can just borrow from us?" With Fatty recently having left his job as well, borrowing as opposed to buying made much more sense. So on Wednesday night, we took Fatty's car and drove out to my parents house in New Jersey. After we were done marveling at the veritable cornucopia that is my parent's well-stocked suburban fridge, it was time to get down to business. My mom took Fatty and I over to their trunk of ski clothes, but when she opened it, there was a horrifying blinding flash of light that seared our eyes and forced us to our knees...
fatty
Hahahah. Holy shit. Fatty and I spent the next 20 minutes voguing while Pappi played Helmut Newton.
fatty
Hey, remember the guy who was rubbing his ass on me? Well, he's back! What's funnier than Fatty's face expressing dismay over his proximity to hot, man-on-man lap dance action?
fatty
They made me feel funny. Down, you know, there.
fatty
Here we are at Fatty's apartment in the morning. After he was done showing us the wall-hooks he'd bought from Guitar Center to hang up his guitars...
fatty
After we were done watching Fatty writhe suggestively in a manner that recalled Tawny Kittain in a Whitesnake video, the three us of walked down to Mandarin Court for a Chinee dim sum breakfast celebration.
fatty
...he started pulling all these weird "sexy man" poses on his recently purchased zebra skin rug.
fatty
There's Little Fatty in the background! Then Pepper (wife of Little Fatty), Frank, Liz, Regular-sized Fatty and me.
fatty
On Friday, a whole bunch of us headed over to Arlene's Grocery to see Grant join Fatty in playing with Fireworks Go Up for the first time. (After only five or six appearances as their rhythm guitarist, Grant left due to "creative differences.") Boo.
fatty
This was too fucking funny: Jen Choi and Amber were arguing over who should get to drink an errant shot of whiskey (that was likley there because we're all girly men who were too pussy to drink it). Jen Choi was like "How about we each drink half?" Amber was like "Sounds good. Here, I'll drink the first half." Then after pausing for a moment, she yelled "SUCKER!" and shot the shot. I managed to catch Jen's face right when she started to realize she'd been had. That just goes to prove the old adage: Never trust a heavily tattooed girl in a hot-pink lycra shirt to share her whiskey.
fatty
Then, somehow, we all ended up getting really, really drunk.
fatty
Then Amber joined us.
fatty
Hahaha.
fatty
Thursday night we all met up at B-Side. Here's Fatty, Grant and Vin.
fatty
Fatty took the less violent approach and actually succeeded by realizing that starting with the can touching your head would work better than starting out holding the can fourteen inches away.
fatty
Despite the fancy dress shirts we wore because of Pepper insistence that they would help us "fit in better," we soooo didn't fit in. (Best photo ever).
fatty
And then Fatty made Pepper's stuffed animals totally get in on on top of everyone's coats. Man, if the people out there in the party only knew!
fatty
Fatty's band play!
fatty
Hey, it's a Monday morning we went to hang out at Fatty's apartment and were surprised to actually find the Fatty there! He quit his jobby-job, remember? Woooo!
fatty
After a long day of moving, we all headed back to my apartment on the Bowery where Frank and Liz thanked us with pies from Lombardi's! Mmmmmmmmmm! Best pizza in the world. Then after dinner...
fatty
Hey! Here they are! Colin, Frank, Grant and Fatty.
fatty
After we finished unloading the entire contents of the truck into the new apartment, the guys took a break and watched me...
fatty
Speaking of awesome, after saying goodbye to Cynthia and Katie - I made my way back over to the karaoke stage to find Mr. Fatty in the midst of...
fatty
Fatty and Jen (and the return of the infamous "Karaoke Hulk Fist.")
fatty
...ummm, trouble. (Watch out for those girls in anchor shirts!)
fatty
Caitlin and The Fatty.
fatty
"Yes, three beers. Oh, and the lady will have a glass of Merlot." Bwahaha.
fatty
David "KING OF JDATE" Fateman lived up to his nickname by actually bringing his JDate from earlier on in the evening to the party!
fatty
Jamie, Lo, Jenny, Frank, Colin, Fatty's hair and Emma.
fatty
Emma (pulling her patented "drunk face") me and the Fatty in the background.
fatty
Saturday we all went to the Knitting Factory to see Fatty's band again.
fatty
Tuesday I met up with the Fatty and Nina for some tasty...
fatty
And then went and saw Fatty's band play at Sin-e.
fatty
Jen and the Fatty.
fatty
Somehow the conversation turned to fitness which led to Jen boasting that she was strong enough to pick up and carry a 200+lbs man. Here she is proving her point with the Fatty.
fatty
And then Jen took here shirt off? (I don't even remember what was going on here. I was too busy praying that my batteries wouldn't die before things got more interesting).
fatty
Some people just don't learn.
fatty
Bwa-ahahahaha. Drunk people in hammock = Disaster always.
fatty
Add a little Liz to tha mix and the next thing you know...
fatty
Oh, snap. The Fatty getting his New Year's smooch on.
fatty
See? I'll bet you know where this is headed...(ps - Liz, you have a sick onion).
fatty
Fatty and Jen were being all nawdy with each other.
fatty
And I found the Fatty in a rare, intoxicated state getting frizzesh with the ladies.
fatty
Then we stopped at In N Out for a little holiday burger treat.
fatty
Fare thee well Fatty! After seeing Dave off, Grant and I went to a bookstore and killed some time before we came back for him to drop me off (I was actually supposed to stay another two days, but being in 65 degree weather a few days before Christmas proved to be too much and I switched my flight so I could get home, do a little Christmas shopping and spend some time with my fam.
fatty
Then Grant and I dropped the Fatty off.
fatty
Mmmm! Fatty likey! Hehehe.
fatty
The Fatty and Joey.
fatty
Me and the Fatty all dressed up.
fatty
Well, almost every single reason. Check out LA, working hard to further blur the line between gainful employment and prostitution.
