Later that night met up with Chris, Charlene & Hannah to celebrate Grant's birthday in a more low key way. Jessica and Jane. Happy 40th, Grant! Liz with the birthday boy! It's the end of the season so you have to get a beer AND an ice cream, ok? We have a tradition each year where we like to see how late in the year we can go to the beach. Met up with Grant at the Tompkins crescent of benches (The Crez) Cheated fall with a late September visit to Coney Island with Grant. Went out to Brooklyn with Amanda, Grant and Cheeky... Grant hooked me up with a fancy new foam mattress through his writing connections! He helped me lug it upstairs... After drying off, we grabbed lunch at a restaurant near the marina! ...in order to Ride Jetskis in the East River for the THIRD TIME . LOL. Someone brought along little sailor hats so that we could have a lil photo opp. ...and after about 45 minutes of jetskiing, we got to do a close-up drive-by of the Statue of Liberty! We made it out to the marina by 10am. On Friday morning, I went out to Sheepshead Bay with Grant and Rachel... ...with Grant & Cheeky. On Sunday I went out to Rockaway Beach.... One for the books, for sure! We got our beach tent all set up... G-Sto showing off the picnic connection. On Monday we played hooky and took Grant's friend Phoebe, who was visiting from Vancouver, to the beach! Love you both! Thanks for everything! Excellent Rockaway Beach Saturday! Grabbed a solid Friday Odessa lunch with Grant. (Back 2 back Odessa for the win!) Cinco De Mayo taco party at Casa de Wang! Sauce-game STRONG. On Monday I went over to Grant's for dinner. He was making his now-famous... On Saturday, I was finally feeling better enough to leave the house and Grant took me out to Odessa breakfast to celebrate Yodle finally getting sold (after waiting for four nail-biting years!)
