On Saturday morning, we checked out and said farewell before splitting up into separate cars for our drive home. Here's to a brand new year - love you all lots! ;) Ellen's morning out, for the win! Ellen picked me up bright and early Thursday morning for a dog party hiking trip. FOUR DOG CAR PARTY. She arrived with Piper and The Dude and I rolled up with Maddy and Edie. Aww, Piper! On Friday night, Ellen, Grant, Piper and the Dude came over for a hang. Three-dog couch party Post-pizza chatting while Piper slowly... Ellen, Hans, Piper and their new Golden Retriever puppy, THE DUDE! Piper is not a fan of the sparklers. Piper leading the way! Haha. Piper got some last minute lap action, before... Our big day! Not only was the house huge and fancy, it also had a ping pong table! Ellen & Piper gave us the tour of the grounds! Saw these guys on Monday! Birthday kisses from Ellen & Piper. All three! On the very first morning of 2014, Piper & Edie helped keep Ellen cozy while she waited for... Rob posing with Piper the party smuggler! FAM! Thanks for inviting us all out, Quinn! Later that evening, Jared & Ellen joined us... On Sunday night Ellen came back from her trip to St. Lucia and came over to our place to claim her nugget! On Sunday Ellen came over! Here she is enthusiastically cheering on Meredith's decision to try to be a... Ellen came over later that evening! We walked the dogs over to Sheen Brothers... Later that evening, Matt and Ellen came over to welcome us back home! Yay! Such party professionals! Ellen and Piper! On Saturday morning, we met up with Ellen and Quinn! Ellen couch-crashed on Friday night! We awoke to the very first sunny, spring-like day of the year. Couch-crew awaiting our delivered Thai feast! Piper supervised the eating process. On Thursday night Ellen came over for a home cooked meal (and to drop Piper off with us for a few days!) ...after Maddy was finished kissing her face... And we stayed up late looking at photos on my computer. Ellen gets tired waiting two years for me to post photos on this site, so sometimes when she's over she likes to get a sneak peeks into what's coming down the line (eventually). Hahah. Admiring our dog collection with hot chocolate. Later that evening, Ellen came over for a hang. We fed her lots of home cooked food and then settled in for... We stuffed the dogs in bags... Double-stacked buddies. Haha. Oh yeah, free Bloody Marys too. Ellen , Piper and Mer. NO HANDFACE. In other news, Leigh discovered that Piper doesn't like HANDFACE one bit! Team 2: Mark, Ellen and myself went with "Party, No Relax." On Friday night, we had a bunch of people over our place to play Cranium. Look, it's a dog...with a bow tie! ...Ellen and Matt! Full house! Dog Unpacked). I love how Piper looks all cute and frisky in this photo... Then on Tuesday night, Ellen and Piper came over. Our official first guests in the new apt! Ellen gives the thumbs up as Hector gives Piper's B-hole a deep sniffing! Haha. Someone who came to the party drew Ellen this amazing picture of Piper as a puppy! (This is my favorite photo of Ellen in the whole wide world!) Ellen and Piper. Piper wasn't very happy about the placement of her backstage pass... Piper the beleaguered pooch eventually found safe-haven in mom's lap. Piper Incognito. As "those two" got closer, we realized it was Ellen and Leigh and that we'd just been busted checking out our own friends! Ellen was there with Piper... Later that afternoon, Mer and I went to Tompkins Square to relax in the grass and read. We looked up from our books and saw two totally hot chicks crossing the park with tiny dogs. We were like "Whoa, check out those two." On Tuesday night I hung out with Ellen and Piper. That is all. And speaking of dogshit...the most exciting news of the night was that Ellen (seen here with John) had brought her new puppy, Piper, to Misshapes! Hahaha. Look at her lil' bat ears! Piper has expressive eyebrows and a tongue that's too long for her mouth so the tip is always peeking out. Here's me out on the street wishing Piper the puppy and Ellen a good night.
