I don't remember if there was a special occasion or if this was just a spring friend hang, but check out the solid Saturday night crew that rolled up into our place!
The worst part about my reading chair is when I turn to look out the window, this is what I see. Still open at 2:15am on a Sunday. Calling out to me. Good luck resisting when you know the change in your pockets could probably buy you at least TWO whole slices.
I texted Meredith after arriving back in town from San Francisco to let her know I was on my way back home. She texted me back, "Surprise, we're fostering a dog!"
After getting parked and unpacked, we ordered pickup from Wacky Wok (which Brett paid for with $40 he found sitting in the ATM cash tray at the restaurant! Score!)
I was feeling a little run down on Thursday so I decided to take a day off from work. (Not much to do while waiting for user-feedback to rack up over the next few days)
Home sweet home! The first thing I did was bring my bike back downstairs and lock it up on the street. (Not really practical to keep a bike indoors where we live.)
Our living room after the new furniture was delivered. Here's our new orange chair, rug, coffee table and couch! I also posted an ad to sell the beige fold-out bed on Craigslist because our new place is much smaller and we don't have room for it!
On Saturday, I unpacked the boxes in our bedroom that were blocking in my favorite green chair, and Maddy took the opportunity to turn it into a makeshift bed.
There were a bunch of boxes that didn't fit into the truck we'd hired, but since we had a few weeks before we had to have our old place cleared out, we figured we could just make a few trips and bring the rest over by hand. No big deal, right?
