Congrats, Mr & Mrs Piccone! On Thursday I received my invite to the upcoming Bassi-Piccone wedding! Verrrrry exciting! Gurj & Jared came over for a lovely evening hang. ...for a dress-as-movie-character Oscar party at Quinn & Sarah's. Haha. Jared, Gurj & Quinn came over for a Saturday night hang. ...Jared was like "Whatever you do, don't touch THAT!" As we climbed the steps, we spotted a few... ...which means they were well-rested for our late-night snacks! These two took a little party nap on the drive back to Boulder... Ran down to congratulate Jared after the show. ...to grab a drink and then we set out to do some... Later that night we headed over to Sean's parent's house for a big BBQ dinner. While we were there, Jared showed us... Later that evening, we met up with Jared and then headed over to Pearl Street... ...Gurj and Jared's brand new apartment! Congrats on the move, guys! ...to play some LRC before dinner! Haha. Two and a half hours into the drive, we stopped at a diner up 87. Jared and Gurj came by on Saturday afternoon and picked up me, Mer & Quinn in the East Village. We grabbed some ice coffees and then headed to the car. ...and a whole roomful of people he knew yelled SURPRISE! On Friday night a bunch of us met up... So excited for a rafting adventure! ...we grabbed some lunch and waited for our group to be called to head down to the river. I don't remember if there was a special occasion or if this was just a spring friend hang, but check out the solid Saturday night crew that rolled up into our place! Later that evening, we went out for drinks at HiFi! Ready to head out! Later that evening, Jared & Ellen joined us... Pretty nice little Wednesday. Later that night, Mer and I went out to Brooklyn Bowl to meet up with these guys! On Tuesday evening, I went out to the West Village to celebrate Davo & The KTB visiting from London! I took this first photo... ...we asked them to take a group photo for us! Let's hear it for diner / bowling therapy! Gurj took game two! I was kind of in the middle of an existential crisis and didn't know what to even do with myself. Gurj and Jared suggested we go for a drive and try to find a random place to eat. We ended up finding some awesome chromed-out diner in Benson Hurst... ...Jared, Gurj and... Schnack time! A few minutes later, Jared and Gurj arrived! Time to head home! ...to get delicious burritos... Goodnight! And we got a hotel for our last evening because Mike and Tanya were returning from their trip! Ready to head back down. Nothing like a good road trip. So excited. Look at this place! After marveling at the Sea Lions, we went to an museum of coin-operated arcade games! ...then made our way over to see about... We walked around downtown for a bit... On Monday we got an early start to do some sightseeing! Behind every good man... HAHAHA. ...it was time for a schnack break! ...so much! We woke up early on Sunday so that we could get a full day of activities in before we had to head to the festival that Jared was playing that evening! Headed home! Hahaha. ...we ordered some Thai food! ...an air mattress and some sheets to make up an extra bed in the living room! We headed up to the amazing roof deck... Later that night we went out to visit Gurj and Jared and had a feast! Jared getting ready to do the mozzarella momma bird. Good times. Here we go! Afterwards, we went next door to The Smith for a big brunch! Awesome. ...and handed them out so we could kick the night off with a festive streamer explosion! ...and we all headed out together to say goodbye to Fran and Alex (they were headed back to London after a visit)! On Wednesday evening, a bunch of people met up at our place... After work on Tuesday night, I walked over to the Grammercy Theater to see Jared's band play!
