We got our ping pong on for a few hours...

Thanks for picking out such a good place to hike, Cat!
me
I had so much fun hiking, Cat! Let's go again sooooooon.
me
We set up the self-timer for this one and had to run all the way to the tunnel and then turn around and try to act all casual. Haha.
me
Went home and spent some quality time with my guitar.
me
...headed to the bar next to the hotel to keep the reunion going for a little longer!
me
...even went so far as to put eveyone's high school yearbook photo onto the name tags! Haha. So good.
me
Close up of me peeking out in the corner. Funny to see so many familiar faces that I hadn't seen since people wore Jincos. Haha.
me
Before dinner I went out and got myself a fresh haircut so I'd look nice for my upcoming TWENTY YEAR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION. Whaaaat?
me
On Monday I got a text that Gravy was in town on tour. We met up at the Hotel on Rivington and then went over to 2-bits and played pinball until we couldn't keep our eyes open!
me
Got to catch up with this one!
me
...who burns white sage non-ironically.

My friends have been (semi) supportive of my transition to a person...

Thanks for playing hooky with me to be my birthday beach buddy, Jane Anne!
me
Made it back to my apartment, washed the beach out of my hair, slipped on my recently purchased nautical ensemble...
me
I'm not very good at doing basic chores or anything to do with fashion. So it was a double-whammy when I found out Leigh's upcoming 30th birthday would require me to wear "Nautical Attire." After full two hours of looking around in 4 or 5 different stores (a serious nightmare-scenario for me) where I had to ask other humans "Hi, do you have anything someone might where on a boat?" I settled on these bad boys. Nautical enough? (There are very few people I like enough to do something like this!)
me
Buddy time.
me
Got caught in the pouring rain on the walk home but it was nice.
me
...so we decided to grab a few drinks and say farewell.
me
...to up our beach-pose ante. (Hat-hold and tricep-flexdown FOR THE WIN!)

A new book I ordered on Amazon arrived and when I noticed the cover I was delighted to see I'd worn the appropriate shirt. Mind Magic The Ecstasy of Freeing Creative Power by Bill Harvey

me
She stuck her tongue out at the perfect time! Haha.
me
Handsome contest!
me
I was walking out, she was walking in! Look who I ran into on the way home! If you need a pack of smokes, a toy with blinking lights or a DVD with either variety of a person having sex with a horse ("You want man fuck horse or horse fuck man?") THIS is your lady! (I've been running into her on the mean, late-night streets of NYC since 2005!)
me
..and photo strips!
me
Tropical drinks...
me
...then the mans (with honorable man-baby, Juliette).
me
Woke up with a terrible sore throat and fever on Saturday.
me
Spent most of the evening visiting someone in hospice. (I'd link to his website, but it's no longer around, just like him). Couldn't warm up so I just left my coat on. Took this picture to remember him and how I felt after seeing him.

"O nobly-born, that which is called death hath now come. Thou art departing from this world, but thou art not the only one; death cometh to all. Do not cling, in fondness and weakness, to this life. Even though thou clingest out of weakness, thou hast not the power to remain here. Thou wilt gain nothing more than wandering in this Samsara. Be not attached to this world; be not weak."
me
Got home and couldn't fall asleep. Stayed up until 5am watching...
me
...love you so hard!
me
The weird feeling of checking into a hotel in the middle of an office park awaiting to attend a meeting that you don't know much about = the life of a self-employed consultant.
me
Going through one of my drawers, I found my Freshman year Roxbury High School id card!
me
Thanks for having us all over, Sarah!
me
Thanks for having us over, guys!
